Disappointing Stay at Hotel San Antonio - A String of Issues Our two-night stay at Hotel San Antonio in Split was a continuous source of frustration and disappointment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that customer service and basic amenities were severely lacking. Upon arrival, we encountered immediate problems with room key cards not working, leaving us exhausted and waiting far too long for assistance. The staff showed a complete lack of attention and responsiveness while we stood there, tired and simply needing to access our rooms. The issues continued inside the rooms themselves. One of our rooms had a noticeable leak, which was inconvenient and concerning. Even worse, another room had a strong, unpleasant odor of cat urine, making it incredibly uncomfortable and unsanitary. To add to our negative experience, most of the rooms do not offer a sea view, which was misleading and disappointing given the hotel's location. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect was the hotel's complete unwillingness to address these significant problems. When we brought up our concerns, the managing staff were unresponsive, and uncooperative, showing no desire to compensate us for the multitude of issues we faced. Their overall demeanor was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Considering the persistent problems with service, room quality, and staff attitude, I cannot recommend Hotel San Antonio. Our stay was far from the relaxing experience we had hoped for.

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours dans cet hôtel, et malheureusement, l’expérience a été très loin d’être à la hauteur d’un établissement annoncé comme quatre étoiles. Dès notre arrivée, les draps n’étaient même pas installés sur le lit : ils étaient simplement posés, pliés… et humides. Dans la salle de bain, impossible de fermer correctement la baignoire/jaccuzi, aussi l’eau est devenue marron après l’avoir rempli, probablement à cause d’un tuyau sale ou mal entretenu. Le sèche-cheveux, quant à lui, semblait tout droit sorti des années 80 – et encore, il ne séchait rien du tout. Le petit déjeuner, lui aussi, laissait franchement à désirer : choix très limité, produits industriels de mauvaise qualité, jus de fruits chimiques… Rien ne justifie le tarif. Le personnel en salle n’était pas très agréable non plus. L’accueil à la réception n’a pas été plus chaleureux : la dame semblait clairement agacée dès qu’on s’adressait à elle, notamment lors de notre arrivée pour la réservation. Côté “services inclus”, grosse déception aussi : les parasols sont à 10 € en supplément, alors qu’on nous parle d’un hôtel “tout compris”. La chambre, pourtant présentée comme “l’une des meilleures”, était située juste au-dessus de la cuisine, avec une odeur persistante de nourriture. Je n’imagine même pas les autres chambres… Enfin, la fameuse “plage privée” n’en est pas une : il s’agit d’une dalle en béton sans sable, avec très peu de transats pour se poser. Absolument pas conforme à ce qu’on attend d’un séjour balnéaire. En résumé : une prestation qui ne vaut ni son prix, ni ses étoiles. Les points positifs: vue mer et piscine intérieure

No tengo por donde empezar. El mejor hotel en el que he estado en mi vida, lo mejor que existe en este planeta en relacion calidad- precio. Desde la señora que nos atendio, la calidad del hotel, la locura de habitacion ( super amplia y limpia), la gran piscina climatizada, el super gimnasio, la sauna, el rico desayuno pero sobre todo la tranquilidad mañanera con el agua del mar en primera linea super calmada y gente haciendo deporte. Me ha encantado el hotel a tal punto que a mi siguiente hijo voy a llamarlo Antonio, para que el dia de su santo sea San Antonio y nos vallamos a celebrarlo al hotelazo. Si no fuera poco tambien le hemos hecho una cancion para expresar el entusiasmo que nos provocó: San Antonio, San Antonio, San Antonio lololó, San Antonio lololó… Cuando llego a tus pasillos, siento fuego en el corazón, tus paredes tienen magia, tu calor es bendición. San Antonio, mi locura, mi familia, mi rincón, a tu gente no la cambio, ¡son mi alma, son mi voz! (Estribillo) Vamos todos con el alma, ¡a dejar el corazón! San Antonio es nuestra casa, ¡nuestro orgullo y nuestro amor! Desde el sur hasta la cima, no hay hotel como vos, San Antonio está en mi sangre, ¡es mi escudo y mi pasión! San Antonio, San Antonio, San Antonio lololó, San Antonio lololó… No hay nada que mejorar. ES PERFECTO!!!!

Amazing service from Zarko, lovely seaside views, sun loungers for rent (only 13 euros for the whole day!) and great drinks. A lovely day out if you’re in Podstrana :)

This place is very dated and needs some work done, it's quite shabby. We had a family room with 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was broken, it was also placed in front of the balcony window so you had to climb over it to get onto the balcony! It is not very disability friendly, there are lots of steps in public areas and accessing some of the buildings. The hotel is set in 3 sections, there is a lift but we have to go down stairs to get to the lift!! The breakfast included in our stay was pretty basic but very nice. The staff warmed to you the longer you stayed and ended up being really lovely after the first impression of being a little brusque. What makes you forget all the bad points is the view, it is absolutely incredible. So beautiful. The hotel is right on the beach and it is stunning. Despite all the bad points I would stay here again. It's quirky and I liked it.

Our family vacation at San Antonio exceeded all expectations. The room had gorgeus sea view, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and rhe staff were so friendly and welcoming. Clean, quiet and relaxing. Highly recomended.

A Truly Magical Seaside Escape – Even Better Than Before!||We’ve stayed at this hotel before and loved it so much that we returned last year—and now again this year. But something about this visit felt truly special. It’s as if everything has been taken to the next level!

Lovely place. The food was delicious! I'd like to do a special mention to Nikola's attention|and availability to explain us the menu. Loved Ćevapč̣ič̣i with fries. Really good desserts too. |We will definitely come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just returned from this hotel. The good points it is on the beach so great views.internet was good. Bad points, theres a few. The room we had was very basic and very small, there was no balcony the "mini bar" was empty no robes and slippers as advertised. Some of the sockets didnt work. |Staff, the reception staff were ok and quite helpful but the bar and restaurant staff were quite ignorant some even rude in my opinion, i got the impression that they didnt like english people. I may be wrong but that was my opinion. The drinks were expensive the menu very limited and again expensive. The ice cream machine didnt work whilst we were there. |The breakfast was poor and very unappetising. |There is not much around this hotel so not alot of choice there is a restaurant next door that is ok and cheaper and a bar just a little further down the beach that is alot friendlier and cheaper, other than that we took ubers into split. |I would definately not rate this hotel 4 star and personally would not stay here again

Good Points:|The beautiful view|The friendly reception staff|Breakfast was ok - mixture of hot and cold foods, but could do with some more fresh fruit that hasn't already been cut up into a fruit cocktail.|Olive Garden next door is a lovely restaurant and they won't rip you off|The bar, less than a minute down the beech - excellent bar food and reasonable priced drinks - again won't rip you off.||Bad Points:|Booked a 'Classic Double Room' - The first room they gave us was on the first floor of the Annex - it was dark, dusty, there was a reed diffuser on a shelf that had mould in it! | The bathroom was tiny! However, the TV didn't work, so we were moved to another 'Classic Double Room', this one on the 2nd floor. Shagpile carpet, view of the road, but at least this one had a bigger bathroom.||Not once during our stay was our room cleaned. I asked at reception, on the 2nd day who advised that somewhere in our room should be a sign to hang on the door if we wanted the room cleaned. I eventually found the sign hidden in the wardrobe. This sign made no difference! During our 6 day stay - not once was it cleaned. I had to ask at Reception when I wanted new towels or toilet paper.||Do not go to the Bar/Restaurant in the hotel - they charged me €9 for a vodka and then another €4.50 for a mixer - obviously we didn't know this until we got the bill. Apparently they had been given me Grey Goose, which is their most expensive vodka, even though I hadn't asked for that - i had just asked for a vodka, so has assumed they would give me the local vodka. Food was very average, but not worth the money. Staff also asked for a tip before we had even paid! |We did not return their for the rest of our stay. There is a lovely restaurant (Olive Garden) next door, and a great bar, on the other side - all very welcoming and will not overcharge you or insist you leave a 18% tip.||The Hotel itself looked tired. It is in a beautiful location, but looking from the outside it lets the surrounding down. It needs a good scrub.||Only stay here as a last resort, but definitely do not eat or drink there. |Will not return.

On y a séjourner 2 jours lors de nos aventures en Croatie c'est le seul hôtel qu'on a fait 4 étoiles et quelle déception la salle de bain seigneur 🫠 Je tourne le robinet pour prendre un bain le bouton lâche... j'ai du demander à mon copain de réparer Avant ça j'allume la lumière pour entrée rien ne va le néon clignote pareil quand on est rentrée dans la chambre un spot clignoter non stop .. Bref j'ai même pas osé utiliser le "jacuzzi" après l'histoire de robinet lol Ensuite j'ai voulu me sécher les cheveux avec leur sèche cheveux le tuyau est tomber et l'odeur de cramé j'ai laissée ... J'aime bien pcq ils nous on dit on vous a surclassé hé bien ... j'ai fais que des 3* on a été mieux traité Les serveurs une catastrophe , désagréable limite si on vous fait chier faut le dire... on a regardé pour manger la vu les notes on a laissée tomber et on a été au restaurant au dessus et on a vraiment bien mangé pour le coup... Bref je ne comprends pas qu'ils sont 4* Et le petit déjeuner n'en parlons pas tout est à la machine café, jus ect et peu de choix pour l'assortiment. Déjà à l'arrivée vue sur l'amont de poubelle sur le parking aurait dû me mettre la puce à l'oreille :/

Waren hier im Restaurant - wer auf inkompetenten Service, kleinste Portionen und große ( fast unverschämte) Preise steht, wird hier nicht enttäuscht.
