This 4 star hotel has nothing but furnitures:|No coffee maker and of course no coffee, no tea bags, no slippers, no bottle waters, no pajamas, no cloth iron, no nothing at all.||The charge €15 per person for shuttle bud to the very nearby Zagreb airport but we got taxi for only €5 for all four of us.

Nisam boravio u hotelu, vjerujem da je usluga na nivou. Imali smo feštu i jeli u restoranu. Meni je jelo savršenstvo. Uzeli smo njihove plate. Doslovno sve što zabodeš vilicom je savršeno.

My wife and I stayed ay the Hotel Royal for an early morning flight home from our spring break trip to Croatia. We had a large room with a seating area and separate bedroom, with a small kitchen and a terrace. The hotel is modern and its restaurant is fantastic. It had good quality food at a reasonable price with generous portions. We arranged an Uber to the airport for our early flight. The restaurant alone would be reason enough to stay here.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel restaurant is fantastic - excellent food and generous portions at great prices. The reception staff were extremely helpful, arranging airport transfers and supplying emergency toothbrushes when the airline lost our luggage. The only negative was that the room was very warm at night and we couldn't get the air conditioning to work.

would not even qualify this as a hotel. The beds are like army carts. There is no shuttle service. There is no Air Conditioning. They have a racket going with a local Uber driver that charges you 15eur to bring you back-and-forth. Don’t stay here.

Soba je bila čista i uredna, osoblje uljudno i doručak pristojan. Međutim, nije mjesto za naspavati se. Usred noći laju psi u blizini, zvučna izolacija dosta loša te se čuje hrkanje iz susjednih soba, i povrh svega čišćenje soba glasnim usisavanjem kreće u sedam sati ujutro.

En escale à Zagreb entre 2 vols, j'ai été très satisfait de l'hôtel. Chambre moderne et très confortable, la décoration et les plats du restaurant sont très bien. Personnel sympathique.

Stayed one night in this hotel after a late evening arrival from Frankfurt. Hotel arranged for taxi at 30Euro for a 10 minute ride to the hotel. The check-in was quick, the room was basic but of good size and the toilet was decent and clean. Breakfast was basic and nothing to shout about. |It is a basic hotel that met our needs for a one night stay. The taxi charges to/fro the airport was on the high side.

I can’t understand how a hotel can get 4 stars when I can’t even get a cup of coffee or a glass of water outside of reception hours. The room is new and modern, but I had a terrible night’s sleep because I couldn’t get a glass of water. The only option was tap water, which smelled like chlorine. I’m staying at a so-called 4-star hotel, Hotel Royal, near Zagreb Airport, but there’s nothing royal about it. I don’t care about the many amenities in the room; they don’t quench my thirst. There’s a refrigerator that hums loudly all night, but it’s empty. How can they get a 4-star rating with such poor basic service? I just don’t get it. I’m extremely thirsty, and it’s only 5 am, so I’m forced to drink some chlorinated tap water. --
