Ottimo hotel su una spiaggia stupenda come da locandina: stanze ampie e pulite, cibo vario e ben preparato, cortesia e gentilezza. Conviene prenotare con mezza pensione.

Bydleli jsme v Garden Suites Hotel Plava Laguna. Jen málo ubytování má tolik prostoru na věci, jako v tomto ubytování. Skvělá a prostorná terasa.

Ok. We went to this resort at the end of June. Out of school holidays. This is a great hotel. Staff and reception throughout were fantastic. All were friendly and helpful. Facilities, pools and restaurants were all great. Sports facilities were good too. Especially if you like tennis. We did not stay in the main hotel block. Or eat in the main restaurant which is in the hotel block. We had a garden apartment with two bedrooms a bathroom and a living room/kitchenette. All well appointed and clean and tidy. We mainly ate out as the food is so good in the surrounding area. The outdoor restaurant by the main family pool has good food. We tried it out on the first day. The ‘quiet’ pool was good too but I thought it might be just for adults. It’s not. So it had kids too. We prefer the sea anyway. 😉 As you may have gathered, this is very much a ‘family’ resort with mainly German, Austrian and a smattering of other European nationals. Europeans and their kids, in our opinion, are generally very well behaved. We’ve had quite a bit of experience of this with our family holidays over the years. I would say 95% of guests having very small or young children in tow. Very few holiday makers from the UK. I have two older boys, 18 and 22 who didn’t require the facilities catering for the younger generation. They both liked the set up at the hotel but we did use it as a base to explore the Istria region, which is lovely. We had an issue with our aircon. Three units in the apartment. Noisy. Reported and fixed immediately. The hotel app was responded to very swiftly. Take a pic. Sent a text. All sorted. We spent most of our time on trips. Location is great. Next to the sea. No golden beaches. A little bit of imported sand. Lots of concrete promenades with sun loungers. Sea is clear and clean. Great snorkelling in places near rocky outcrops. Porec, is a 30 min walk for the average paced walker. Porec is lovely. Very old town vibe but lively. Mainly shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely port. Pretty and clean. Food in restaurants is great. Med/Italian/german vibe. 99% speak English. German/Austrian is the dominant tourist. Felt safe and understood. Local towns are great. And worth hiring a car to explore. Would I return? Yes. Hotel splnil ve všech ohledech naše očekávání (rodina s dětmi). Děkujeme. Pokoje nové, čisté. Lehátek i ručníků u bazénů dostatek. Bohaté vyžití pro děti (herna, tobogány, animace, polední snack). Moře kousek přes silnici. Dostatek parkovacích míst. Večer romantika se živou kapelou. Personál vstřícný a usměvavý. Jídlo na vysoké úrovni s velkým výběrem. Nápoje zahrnuté v ceně (např. točené pivo Braník). Jediným záporem (pro nekuřáky) je, že venkovní prostor areálu není nekuřácký (zejm. lehátka u bazénu, balkóny), což bylo občas nepříjemné při čichání kouře. Jedná se o velký hotel s mnoho hosty, takže snídaně a večeře byly poměrně masová záležitost/akce a kdo má rád při jídle klídek, tak musí vydržet řvoucí děti, padající talíře, apod. :) ale všeho bylo dostatek a pravidelně doplňováno! Nedá se jinak nic moc vytknout, proto plné hodnocení a budeme se těšit příště! Hvala.

Positives: |- gut gepflegtes, modernes, sauberes Hotel |- tolle Poolanlage vor allem für Kinder |- Zimmer geräumig, modern|- Personal freundlich und spricht gut Deutsch; vor allem beim Pool ist das Personal immer gut gelaunt und sehr freundlich! |- Buffet vielfältig, vor allem für Kinder immer was dabei |- Parkplatz immer vorhanden; geschützt; hat immer funktioniert |- Meerzugang direkt vorm Hotel |- wenige Gehminuten in die wunderschöne Altstadt von Porec (sehr sehenswert!)|- Zimmer sind sehr schalldicht; sind die Fenster geschlossen, ist es wirklich angenehm leise ||Negatives: |- Abfluss Dusche war verstopft; das ganze Bad wurde mit dem ersten Duschen geflutet; wurde aber auf Anfrage bei der Rezeption sofort behoben |- Zusatzbett im Vorraum sehr ungemütlich (ausziehbare Couch)|- Babybett wurde trotz Reservierung vergessen - auch das wurde auf Anfrage sofort behoben |- Tägliche Zimmerreinigung etwas oberflächlich aber okay. Hätte mir etwas mehr gewünscht; Putzmittel sehr geruchsintensiv (stört viele nicht, ich bin da etwas empfindlicher) |- Zimmer war Richtung Klimaanlage; Ausblick eher unschön (gut, wir wussten ja, es wird kein Meerblick...) trotzdem sehr laut, wenn man abends auf dem Balkon genießen möchte |- Buffet vor allem abends - trotz Bemühungen seitens des Personals ist es eine reine Massenabfertigung! Kinder sind laut und rennen überall herum (auch das kann man sehen wie man will - auf der einen Seite Chaos auf der anderen Seite haben sicher auch unsere Kids zu dem Chaos beigetragen und wir waren froh, dass nicht nur unsere Kinder mal was fallen haben lassen, gerannt sind oder laut waren) |||Fazit: Als Familie ein tolles, außerordentliches, empfehlenswertes Hotel. Als Paar im Erholungsurlaub... Eher nicht!!! Würd ich niemals machen!

Super Hotel. Zimmer war schön groß (Familienzimmer). Modern eingerichtet und sauber. Anlage war super, vor allem der Pool für Kinder war sehr beliebt bei den Kleinen. Frühstück und Abendessen war auch lecker und für jeden was dabei. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Anlage sehr gepflegt. Zum Meer muss man nur über die Straße gehen. Wir kommen wieder!

Amazing hotel for families with children - almost everyone there was a family or group with children so I probably wouldn’t recommend if you were an adult only group looking for some relaxation! Pool areas amazing, kids splash pool lots of fun. Staff so friendly. Food at breakfast and dinner seemed really fresh, lots of options which is just perfect with young children. Room was clean and spacious. Location was excellent, close to a family sandy beach and around a 30 min walk to Porec which was a beautiful town. This was our first visit to Croatia and we fell in love with it! This hotel was certainly a big part of that, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to families.

Ich hatte mit meine Familie einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel! Schon beim Check-in wurde ich herzlich empfangen, und das freundliche Personal hat dafür gesorgt, dass ich mich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt habe. Die Zimmer war sauber, modern eingerichtet und sehr ruhig – ideal zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Frühstück aber auch Abendessen Buffet, eine tolle Auswahl, Auch die Lage war super,dennoch angenehm ruhig. Ich komme definitiv wieder und empfehle das Hotel gerne weiter!

This hotel is simply perfect. Very clean rooms - everyday were cleaned. Amazing food for Breakfast and Dinner with a lot of choices. Pools clean, hot and nice for everyone. I only could recommend for families this Hotel.
