Lovely hotel in fantastic location above lapad bay. very nice staff, room and breakfast were brilliant and only a short stroll to other bars and restaurants. Set in the cliff so lots of elevators to get around this quirky building and all the levels, but its fine. The Cave Bar is a bit pricey but brilliant and a must visit.|Hotel does advertise itself as adult only, 14+, however there were much younger children around when we were there so just to bear in mind if this is important to you then it might be worth double checking what the actual policy is on this.|Overall a fantastic hotel and would return without hesitation

Fantastic location with great breakfast and good service. Cave bar pricey but brilliant. Lots of elevators to get around this quirky building set in the cliffs above lapad bay, but it's all fine.
hotel is advertised as adult only, if you are choosing for this reason then just to note this wasn't the case when we were there, so it doesn't appear to be fully adhered to.

A first class hotel in an idyllic location a short Uber trip to the old Town with all the ancient and modern history it offers. It was incredibly hot during our visit so if you intend to walk the old town wall go at 8am when it opens to avoid not only the heat but the crowds from the cruise ships. A highlight for us was the Eco Tuk Tuk Tour with a very informative driver and some of the best viewing points in the area. Would we return, a definite yes.

This was a special occasion for my wife and I Anniversarry and wifes 60th, we got smallest room in hotel above reception no private balcony like all others in hotel room 801, room clean but entrance where we had 2 chairs and wall covered in ants, when complained at reception, thats what you booked, and they asked would you like us to do something about the ants? (Really) same booking as other couple room far supirior and they had private balcony. couple times few ants in bathroom. Stopped off to end one evening at the Cave Bar, looked around then went to find table got one on 1st floor, waited for service, then decided just to pop down to place order, stood waiting beside another guest who was trying to pay few mins went by then asked if I could place order for drinks, we are full he snapped! I have a table, then to my shock he summond me to cctv screen and told show me as he flicked through screen, I told him to slow down then pointed that was my wife, no appoligy I had to ask if there was a problem it was only 10.15ish not like closing time, RUDE!! Then couple days later went down to get bottle sparkling water for room at bar by sea, handed over 50 euro note, took his time then handed me change of 10 and put 2 x 20 notes back in pouch, I looked at him and said I gave you a 50 and you have put 2 x 20 back in pouch, he sighed then handed over, again no apoligy. Breakfast was good but do not like the Bacon (Bacon in UK far nicer) and Sausages(more like hot dogs), but plenty continental and ordered Eggs A La Carte. Was due to eat meal in hotel but put off with attitude, we found new place Pino's great food from Pizza, Pastas, Risotto and fish dishes. Having been in Hospitality all my life the hotel it left a sour taste and never heard of being asked to pay tourist tax at end of stay when we checked out alway pay at start, our pick up had arrived early too. The old town is very good to visit and food is good.

My wife and her sisters recently returned from a memorable special birthday, where they were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite. All had a fabulous time, due to the lovely hotel, helpful professional staff and beautiful location. Couldn't have been better.

Oh dear . Looking at your recent reviews definitely we did nit have that experience. Reception not interested on outr complaints . Bar staff in the cave bar very Rude. ANTS crawling on our table are and balcony. Sink in bathroom cracked . Could go on as it was a nightmare. The money we spent definitely not worth it . Have stayed in much better hotels. My niece bedroom was bigger then our room. It was a special occasion for us both and they did not care . Avoid the jacuzzi as each day there was dead insects. Overall very unhappy guests .

5-star location. As a non hotel resident parking is a challenge. Excellent bar built into the mountain side. Reception was accommodating in terms of taking us through to the bar area … you can swim there so bring your costume. Drinks are pricey though

This hotel is stunning. We arrived after 30 min transfer and the views on the way here were beautiful. At hotel we were met by friendly, exceptional staff. They took cases to room and couldn't do enough for you. We stayed for 5 nights. |The room was huge and immaculate, Little touches like speakers in the bathroom etc. The bed was giant and the balcony was massive. We had loungers looking out to sea and it was perfect. Rooms were cleaned every day. Lots of wardrobe space. Great bath and shower.|There is a lovely pool which we enjoyed in the afternoon, think it's floor one. You can walk out and you over look the sea, and there are little coves to sit and chill on if you like. |If you turn left out back of hotel, it's a 10 minute walk into lapad, with nice bars and restaurants dotted about. The beach is pebbles so not our favourite, but nice.|The hotel has another pool area and hot tub area on floor 5, amazing! The views are insane! The breakfast was fresh and filling, and lots of choice each day. We sat outside and again the view over the bay, wow!! We ate in one of the restaurants at night and it was lovely, nice food and not too pricey compared to some places nearby. Drinks are expensive €6 for a coke, €8 for a small beer. Speaking of beer, you can get the lift down to the cave bar! It is unreal! We spent one night in there chilling and a few afternoons we had an hour on the outside bit and a few cocktails in the sun. It was just amazing. But be warned cocktails are expensive! |It is quite expensive but dubrovnik as a whole is a bit of a rip off. But it is well worth it. Make memories! |Uber to dubrovnik from the hotel was about 15 mins drive and between 7 and 25 euros depending on time of day. Also try Cavtat, 40 mins in a taxi and what an awesome place!

An attractive, comfortable hotel which was a great base for our holiday. Housekeeping were excellent (came back several times a day), bed was comfortable, air con very good. Views out to sea were out of this world. Location very convenient for getting into Lapad local shops or into the Old Town.
Unfortunately, a few niggles which can't be ignored...there were a few hairs in our bathroom when we arrived so it did not feel 100% clean. The shower was very basic and the temperature varied. Room was small and quite old-fashioned, but had good storage. Complicated lift system in the hotel which was frustrating on a long hot day. A La Carte menu provided at breakfast but we were never once asked if we wanted to order anything. Small pool areas, which at times left not enough space for guests. These issues may seem minor but detracted from what we expected of a 5-star hotel.
Nonetheless, the staff were extremely attentive and did everything they could to make the stay a good one. Cannot fault the location and the surroundings and would certainly recommend the hotel to those looking where to stay in the Dubrovnik area.

This hotel is comfortable and has views from certain rooms. Loved the promenade along the sea to various restaurants. The hotel offered a lovely, huge buffet breakfast. Our
dinner was very good as well. They need an elevator from streetside to lobby albeit porters are available for check in/out.

We booked a room through trip.com which based on the picture led me to believe that the room had a balcony with a view of the sea. Room was an interior room with no view. Feel clearly misled by trip.com’s advertising and will use a different site when booking our next room. Was in Greece and Croatia for three weeks and this was definitely our least favorite room.

Lovely cliff location above a pedestrian street with a variety of restaurants. Our back room with small balcony had a partial sea view, noisy from air-conditioning units, and people passing from one lift to the other. The shower water was cold, and one one day our room was not cleaned, but both problems were solved quickly by the obliging and friendly staff.
