Das Hotel an sich ist wirklich top – schöne Zimmer, freundliches Personal an der Rezeption und gutes Frühstück. Ich habe mich größtenteils sehr wohlgefühlt. Was mich aber wirklich massiv gestört hat, war der Bereich draußen, das Restaurant: Die Mitarbeiter dort waren extrem langsam und wirkten komplett unmotiviert. Das hat jedes Mal genervt und leider einen Teil des positiven Gesamteindrucks kaputtgemacht. Trotzdem ist das Hotel insgesamt empfehlenswert – aber an dem Punkt sollte dringend gearbeitet werden.

Hostile and Unprofessional Staff – Dog Mistreated Despite Paid Pet Fee ⸻ We had a shocking and distressing experience on July 23rd around 15:00 while checking in at Plava Laguna Resort in Poreč. We had reserved a studio for 2 persons with a terrace (park side) and were traveling with our small dog. We paid €51 in pet fees (approx. €17/day) as shown in the booking confirmation — a clear indication that dogs are allowed and welcomed. However, upon arrival, we couldn’t locate the correct reception for the villas and went to the hotel reception (same complex) to ask for directions. I was holding our dog in my arms when a security guard aggressively harassed me, shouting “no dogs allowed” and physically pushing me out of the building before I could speak. Even worse, I was told to leave our dog outside in the full sun, in extreme heat, before returning to speak to the receptionist. This behavior is not only unprofessional — it borders on animal neglect and abuse. It is completely unacceptable, especially given the temperatures and the fact that we paid the pet surcharge. Meanwhile, my wife approached the reception desk, where the staff were rude, dismissive, and refused to help. When we asked for their names to file a complaint, they hid their badges and suddenly stopped speaking English. We strongly urge management and relevant animal protection authorities to review the behavior of the staff and security. This treatment is inhumane, discriminatory, and dangerous. Pet-friendly accommodation should not treat animals like a nuisance or guests like intruders. We are deeply disappointed and warn other pet owners to think twice before booking here. ⸻

We are having a wonderful time here! The service is great, and the staff is really kind—especially the girls from the kids' playroom. When they are in charge, parents can truly relax and enjoy their coffee :)

Every night, from 8:30-11:00PM there are noisy concerts, even there is no people to watch it or dance.. It is quite annoying when you are with small kids. I asked fhe receptionist, but there is no option to decrease the volume. Food is avarage buffet food, but drinks are included. In the rooms there are no small fridge, you can order it for extra fee.

Well what can i say on my 7th visit, how much this place has gone downhill. Beds very uncomfortable, restaurant staff at the younger age need to be more helpful instead of leaving it to someone else, I've noticed them on multiple occasions look down at spilt or dropped item and just walk away leaving them as a potential slipping hazard. The food is not as good as it was the last time i visited, today we ordered a drink with a glass of ice also, we received our drinks but after about 15 minutes of relentless asking ended up going to the bar to fetch the ice. Tonight we tried to get a cup of English tea in the restaurant and again there was no milk, I did ask one of the young male members of the staff, the reply i got was someone may bring some, then he walked off, after 10 minutes of waiting i gave up. Like i said this is my 7th time here, there won't be an 8th, really really disappointed, come on mediteran get your younger staff sorted.

War am 12.Juli eine Woche im Hotel Mediteran. Hatte ein kleines, nettes Einzelzimmer mit Balkon. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren ausreichend und sehr gut. Der Pool sauber und auch das Personal freundlich. Leider nicht barrierefrei.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The animation team was absolutely amazing – always smiling, full of energy, and made every day more fun. I especially enjoyed the Aqua Gym, which was a great mix of exercise and entertainment. Thanks to the animators, I felt active and happy throughout my stay. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Wir waren die letzte Juniwoche in dem Hotel, leider mußten wir den Urlaub aus gesundheitlichen Gründen früher abbrechen. Die Lage ist wundschön. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, überhaupt das ganze Hotel war sehr sauber . Das Personal vom Zimmermädchen bis zum Personal im Speisesaal sehr freundlich und fleißig. Aber am meisten gefallen uns die wunderschönen Pinienwälder mit ihren Spazierwegen.

Das Hotel ist für die Familien mit Kleinkinder super geeignet. Die Küche, die Kinderbeteruung und das Entertainment sind einfach top. Man kann hier wirklich den Kopf abschalten:)

Bili smo izuzetno zadovoljni boravkom u hotelu! Sve je bilo odlično, sobe su udobne i čiste, hrana raznolika i ukusna, bazen lijepo uređen, a okolina hotela mirna i predivna za šetnje i opuštanje. Nije zapravo minus hotelu, ali nije nam se svidjelo što u blizini nema baš lijepih plaža pogodnih za malu djecu. Posebno želimo pohvaliti animatoricu Elenu koja je oduševila našu djecu. Svaki dan su s veseljem išla u mini disko i igraonicu, većim dijelom zahvaljujući njezinoj toplini, kreativnosti i izvrsnom pristupu djeci. Elena zaista radi izvanredno s najmlađima i unosi posebnu energiju u dječji program. Hvala cijelom osoblju na ljubaznosti i gostoprimstvu. :)

Zadovoljni smještajem i hranom. Osoblje je izuzetno ljubazno, a posebno želimo pohvaliti animatoricu Elenu. Naša djeca su se jako veselila njezinim aktivnostima, redovito su sudjelovala u raznim radionicama, a mini disko je postao njihov omiljeni dio dana. Elena je zaista napravila odmor nezaboravnim za nas, a djeca su se uvijek rado vraćala u njezinu društvu. Preporučujemo svima koji žele opuštajući i zabavan odmor!

Skvelý pobyt pre rodiny s deťmi – priateľský personál a výborná atmosféra Boli sme tu ubytovaní ako rodina s malým dieťaťom a celkovo hodnotíme pobyt veľmi pozitívne. Veľké poďakovanie patrí najmä animátorom, ktorí sa počas celého pobytu starali o skvelú atmosféru a zábavu pre deti – ich prístup bol úprimne priateľský, energický a robil veľký rozdiel v tom, ako sme sa tu cítili. Čistota izieb aj areálu bola na dobrej úrovni, rovnako aj poskytované služby. Bazény boli čisté, udržiavané a vhodné aj pre menšie deti. Oceňujeme tiež, že po 23:00 bol v areáli pokoj, čo je veľké plus pre rodiny s deťmi. Priestor na zlepšenie však určite vidíme v prístupe pre kočíky – niektoré schody by si zaslúžili doplnkovú rampu alebo bezbariérové riešenie, aby sa s kočíkom dalo pohodlne pohybovať po celom areáli. Tiež by bolo dobré vylepšiť reguláciu klimatizácie v izbách a hlavne v detskom kútiku, kde bolo niekedy až nepríjemne chladno. Celkovo však hotel odporúčame rodinám s deťmi – oddýchnete si, deti sa zabavia a atmosféra je veľmi príjemná.

A very clean hotel. Rooms compact but adequate. Air con not brilliant , we had a fairly “mild” week and wonder how it would cope in hotter conditions. Food very typical of hotel buffets , and met my expectations- nice touch though was the self service drinks station for lunch offering soft drinks , beer and wine. Hotel surroundings pleasant , set amongst pine trees and short walk to the promenade by the sea. From there a nice 20 min walk into Porec centre. |Pool area not the largest- but there is also a nice lawned area with sunbeds and hammocks. I imagine in high season these would quickly be taken quite early. |Pleasant stay overall but not sure if the area in general would draw me back for a return visit.

Soweit ganz gut, aber jeden Abend viel zu laute Musik durch Livebands. Die Hälfte der Lautstärke hätte gereicht, da unten nur einpaar Gäste waren. Man sollte schon an alle denken.

Hotel Mediteran really surprised us in the best way – the staff were super friendly and always helpful. Marco had a really nice way with the kids, which made things even more enjoyable for the whole family. Our little ones had fun and felt really comfortable. The vibe at the hotel was chill and welcoming. Totally recommend it, especially for families with kids!
