Rooms are outdated and noisy, our window did not close properly and having a room with a sea view also meant it was by the main road. Breakfast was good but the dinner poor with very limited options.

Ik kan iedereen dit hotel aanraden! Een prima kamer met zeezicht (geen balkon). Alles is super schoon en elke dag als je je lekkere ontbijtje eet, wordt je kamer schoongemaakt. De bedden worden verschoond en de verse handdoeken, met lavendel wasverzachter, liggen weer voor je klaar. De service in het hotel is uitmuntend. Een gratis badlaken kan je pakken bij de poolboys en de bediening in de 'Pianobar' is vlot. De prijs is aan de stevige kant. Een enkeltje (4 p) met een Uber taxi kost 9€ naar de Old Town. De Sunset Beach is ook een aanrader. Ook daar vindt je lekkere restaurantjes. Wij hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in Hotel Lero!

recently stayed at Hotel Lero and overall had a great experience. It’s definitely one of the nicest hotels in the area, offering beautiful views—especially from the bar, which is perfect for enjoying a drink while overlooking Dubrovnik. The hotel sits on a higher part of town, which means walking down to the Old Town or marina can be a bit tiring on the way back, but that’s not really the hotel’s fault and buses are available if needed. My room was comfortable with excellent air conditioning, though there were a couple of small maintenance issues—a broken reading lamp and shower window, plus a sliding shower head that caused some water leakage. None of these were major problems and didn’t affect the stay much. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Dinner service could have been a bit smoother, but the chef was fantastic and made the experience more personal. The food itself was decent but became a little repetitive and could have been refilled more frequently. The pool area was lovely, and the bar had fair prices, making it a great spot to relax after exploring Dubrovnik. Overall, I’d recommend Hotel Lero for anyone visiting the area. With friendly staff, good facilities, and great views, it’s a solid 4-star stay despite a few minor issues.

Pros: Communal facilities are beautifully decorated, clean and smell nice. Pool staff are attentive and remove towels if people try to reserve. Breakfast was good. Location superb. Cons: Room no better than a Premier Inn in the UK - fine if like us you don’t spend much time there. Pool bar a rip off compared with other local snack bars.

The hotel bar is an absolute shambles, took an hour for two pints to arrive despite having to ask numerous times. When we were getting up to leave we were wrongly accused of not paying for them.

I would call it Hotel Zero. This facility does not deserve any stars. If you like twin beds with decor that looks like it has not been updated since 1980 then this place is for you. Rooms are musky smelling, dated and show wear and tear. Bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet. No cabinet or counter space, no toiletries, hair dryer is from the 70s. If it works. No other amenities. Reception and common areas are cramped and offer no ambiance. Pool is small. Front desk could care less. Food is so-so. I would not recommend this hotel given the price we paid.

Horrendous. No control of night security meant we were robbed of any sleep as huge parties took place on our floor. Finally managed to get it stopped by 2am but only due to my insistence rather than anything hotel were able to. I know it was a unique situation. We made the choice to leave next day - utterly exhausted. The guy on reception did his best and the General manager is a very charming guy who did go a long way to put things right and made us feel heard at least.

Yesterday, I was At the hotel returning from the beach about 3:30pm, and the sprinkler started to drop when I got to look close it suddenly started to flood my room with black water, so black that it took me 20 washes to clean that black ink from the clothes I was wearing. My room was flooded and the employees didn’t Know what to do. I had to put the finger into the hole for 40 minutes to stop the black water. My face got black, and my Wife face got black. We had to wash more than 15 clothes and there was no place to get them dried. Even the clothes from my closed suitcase got wet. The front desk man offered us another room. But while we were washing the black water clothes from the flood and trying to get a shower the main manager called the police to make a report. I thought it was so weird. I think the maintenance wasn’t good, they even mentioned a piece and the termostate of the sprinkler was missing. Is was so strange the Huge amount of water that flooded the room in 2 minutes, and the water was too dirty in the pipes. My wife had to carry out the water in the garbage bucket before the maintanance arrive, as they took long to arrive and to close the draining water after herself called the reception in person. The whole situation was very scary.

Surprised that this a 4 star hotel to be honest.||The location is good - the No. 4 bus (free if you have the Dubrovnik pass) is convenient and frequent. ||It was impossible to get a bed or seat by the pool unless you were there by 9 am.||“Signature toiletries” consist of a wall mounted tube of green stuff in the shower, and two next to the sink.||The hairdryer I have thankfully not seen the like of in about 10 years. After 5 minutes the head and hose were so hot I had to use a towel to hold it.||Breakfast looked miserable. I can’t eat meat or eggs. There were a few slices of hard cheese or a pre-packed soft cheese. No cottage cheese. No tomatoes. Shrivelled looking rocket. ||Bedrooms were tired.

Excelente hotel, a 20 minutos andando a Pile Gate y Old Town. Buena atención, agradable y atenta. Habitación amplia, limpia y bien equipada. Desayuno variado y cafetería bien atendida y con carta de comida internacional y algún plato local. Piscina pequeña pero bien equipada. Un lugar para volver.

Las habitaciones son normales, poco lugar para las valijas. Los mozos de la pileta fueron los mas serviciales y atentos, los recepcionistas y los que te reciben las maletas no te responden con mas de dos palabras las consultas que les hagas. Pero casi todos los croatas son así. Tendrian que esmerarse un poquito mas ya que viven del turismo.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, I do not think the hotel deserves four stars. The amenities in the bathroom are essentially nonexistent other than soap. There’s no shampoo (just a combo body wash/shampoo), no lotion, no hair conditioner. The front desk is not able to make change for euros, so you can leave a tip for the staff. it is about a 25 minute walk from old town. If you take a taxi from old town, they charge you up to €20.

Hotel Lero, waar we met twee gezinnen naartoe zijn gegaan. De ontvangst was prima en de kamers waren ruim. Alleen was er één badkamer waarbij je gewoon via het andere appartement naar binnen kon kijken. Het raam kon ook niet verduisterd of afgesloten worden. Er waren twee douches en één toilet. De bedden waren oké. Bij het ontbijt misten we lactosevrije yoghurt. Ze zouden echt meer rekening moeten houden met allergieën. De koffie was bovendien niet echt lekker – als we dan toch iets moeten noemen om over te klagen. Voor de rest: de ligging is top. Heel dicht bij de oude stad. Binnen vijf minuten ben je met de auto weg, en het is ongeveer twintig minuten lopen naar het centrum.

Hotel bastante decepcionante. Las habitaciones del edificio principal necesitan una reforma y siguen teniendo una bañera que es un peligro meterse por lo altas que están para entrar y salir. Los empleados de recepción muy poco amables y poco dispuestos a dar soluciones. Está en lo alto de una montaña por lo que para ir al centro es una excursión…

Fantastic location for a hotel stay. 10 min walk to the old town. Bus no 4 right outside hotel takes you there too (2.50 euros). Supermarket 5 min walk away. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast and dinner at hotel was delicious. Pool and gym are nice too. Staff here are really friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday. There were 3 of us and our room was huge. We’ve had a fab stay.
