what a great find close and far away from town. A great chilled vibe. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is excellent
First time in Dubrovnik. Stayed for 4 nights with my wife, daughter and her partner. Lovely hotel, ideally based for the old town which was a 10 min bus ride away (no 6 i think?) Rooms not huge but clean. Nice view from balcony and the AC was much needed as it was very hot. Breakfast for adequate with plenty of choices, hot & cold. The omelette lady was making fresh dishes to order. Set you up for a days site seeing. We used to get out early and then return to the pool area in the afternoon which was nice. Could usually get 4 beds but possibly more difficult in the height of the summer as bit small. We ate out every night and there's a very nice marina restaurant/bar right across the road where we ate twice. Also a lovely little garden bar next door where we had lunch once twice. You can walk to the Lapad beach which is about 10-15 mins walk away where there's also a selection of restaurants. A couple of nights there was live music outside which was pleasant. There were no tables of chairs outside so one night we sat on sun loungers. No one was really dancing (possibly an older crowd !?) and all sitting in side. Maybe a bit livelier in busy times. Well worth a stay here

Spent a week on a half board basis here recently, and it was our first Croatian trip.|Couldn’t have picked a better hotel, location, city or country.|Stunning scenery in every direction, with a different view around every corner.|Plenty to do and the perfect base to do it all.|The hotel is a beautiful mix of modern and traditional, with spotless rooms, public areas and grounds.|Food is all tasty, very well cooked and non-repetitive, and the drinks of good quality with a varied choice of local and international brands.|Rooms are modern, well cleaned and have all the mod cons.|As mentioned in several reviews, the prices in Dubrovnik as a whole are expensive, but the hotel seems to price things reasonably for the area.|Bottled beers are around €6.50, cocktails €13 and wine €9 per glass.|Pool does get crowded and there is a struggle for sun beds at peak times, particularly on changeover days.|Staff in the hotel are amazing, as are the locals. Extremely friendly and welcoming.|Local buses are extremely frequent, safe and cheap.|The only negative is the lack of facilities if you have a late flight. Only the bar toilets are available to freshen up and change in.|Book without hesitation.

First class Hotel, staff superb so helpful. We were half board and the selection and standard was excellent. Food is available throughout the day by the pool. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Good breakfast, and nice pool area, with separate sun deck away from the pool. Bar staff very friendly, would recommend this hotel.
First time to Dubrovnik and pleased we chose this hotel. Breakfasts and evening meal excellent selection. Rooms small and kept very clean. Pool area a little cramped but not really a problem. Good location - 10 minute walk to bus stop for trips to the Old town. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Enjoyable stayy

We stayed here for a week as a 60th birthday celebration, it was the only hotel visited in many years of travel that did not recognise a birthday especially as it was a milestone event.|The hotel in general was very good and the building itself was impressive. The staff and service were very good, although, staff during the evening meal appeared sparse which meant that you were often waiting 10 minutes or so to be served for drinks, some guests brought their drinks in from the bar as a consequence and plates would also pile up on tables, which is not great.|The pool area was usually quite relaxed, although, as like many other hotels the management allowed people to reserve sun beds without use for 3 hours or more.|Hotel in a great location and we thought was expensive to eat and drink there, until that was we ventured out and realised the hotel was indeed reasonable with its prices.|Dubrovnik is suffering from tourism greed and was a topic of concern for many, prices are inflated considerably and this could do more harm than good going forward.|Overall we did enjoy our stay in Dubrovnik but price hikes aimed at tourists are a major talking point

The hotel was a great base for all adventures around Dubrovnik it is perfectly situated as nearly all walks around the hotel are flat for people with mobility problems it's a god send, The hotel was adequate with the pool area being a little cramped but there is a great pool bar directly opposite the hotel, The breakfast was ok with plenty of choice for all tastes, I would recommend the buffet at night as you get a great selection and at a very competitive price compared to the bars around you plus it's all you can eat, The staff as in any hotel were split with some friendly and knowledgeable like peter who served in the street bar In fact most of the staff who served at the street bar were excellent and maybe the hotel front of house staff could take a few lessons in being friendly, |If I had one fault it would be the Aircon is not the strongest and sits at 22 degrees constantly.|I would recommend this hotel for it's placement and outside bar/cafe. It was kept spotless by the amazing cleaning ladies who were nothing but friendly and helpful a real credit to the hotel.

Great hotel with fabulous service. Rooms are lovely albeit bathrooms are a tad small. Great position for getting into Dubrovnik old town easily.
Hotel Lapad is an attractive building near the marina in a peaceful part of Dubrovnik. However, we booked ages ago, only a 2 night stay away from the children and paid extra for a room with a marina view! As you can see, it was a little underwhelming!

We stayed here for two days prior to another hotel. It was perfect. Great breakfast-great service and location to old town was ideal. There is not a fitness room, but that was not a priority for us. Rooms were clean and cool during a hot June.
Stayed at this hotel in May for 3 nights. Our room was spacious and nice. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. We had breakfast included and there was a lot of choice. The pool was small but it was ok as not warm enough to use when we were there. Bus into town was quick and cheap. As other people recommended we also used Uber and this was good. I would stay here again.

So, I'm usually a very smoked glass, straight lines, marble gloss finish type person so this hotel was a bit old fashioned and traditional for me. There's not enough room around the pool so best option is to head for the garden area.
Food is not the greatest and very bland. Not a huge amount of choice and I'm usually quite happy with food. Breakfast was the best meal for food as they had everything you wanted. Evening meals were limited and I ate a lot of bread. Service was hit and miss as a lot of times the empty plates and bowls were piling up on the table between courses and although people were around, they didn't seem to want to clear them. Quite a disappointing trip if I'm honest. Wouldn't necessarily recommend the hotel and definitely wouldn't return in a hurry.
Place was spotlessly clean and the maid staff were first class.
Pool boy on the other hand was as much use as a chocolate teapot. He wandered around aimlessly and when asked for things never had them or indeed came back even when they were blatantly there. Didn't keep on top of pool towels and most of the time sat on his phone.
Parking is chargeable if you have a hire car too so be careful for that. Also city tax is only asked for at the end of the stay and is needed in cash. Be sure to have enough currency left.
This is a medium sized hotel with excellent facilities. It's about 10 minutes by bus to the walled city of Dubrovnik. The town centre can be EXTREMELY crowded with gazillions of cruise ship tourists. This hotel provides a quiet haven for relaxing by the pool or at the bar. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to make sure everything was perfect for the guests. We had one of the newer rooms with a balcony and view over the water to Gruz. The rooms were comfortable with very nice bathrooms.|Opposite the hotel is a large marina with a nice cafe/restaurant. We ate there several times. There are restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the hotel which we visited. They are all really good with great food and friendly service - Peppers was a fave with us. |I highly recommend Hotel Lapad. My only very minor fault is that the evening buffet food wasn't very warm but the quality was good. Loved the lasagna !!
