Great place for summer holidays! The location of the hotel is breathtaking and food os very tasty. It's hard not to find something for everyone as the buffet restaurant is well prepared to satisfy even the fussiest customers. The hotel is clean and well kept, however it's clear that it hasn't had a refurbishment for a while and you can see clear signs of wear and tear. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful and always happy to assist. Overall great experience and I recommend this hotel for everyone that looking for nice break from town!

Pulizia e classe! Fin dal nostro arrivo, ci siamo sentiti i benvenuti. Il personale della reception è stato professionale e cordiale, sempre pronto ad aiutarci. La mia camera era spaziosa, moderna e molto pulita, con un letto comodo e lenzuola di alta qualità. La colazione a buffet era varia e deliziosa, per tutti i gusti. Ho apprezzato anche l'atmosfera tranquilla, che ha reso facile rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata. Lo consiglio vivamente! Ci hanno aiutato molto con il parcheggio, torneremo sicuramente.

the best hotel I have seen + great beach access + ping pong, volleyball, padel and a lot of other activities +++ two big sea water pools +++ two saunas and a steam room with sea views +++ high quality rooms +++ location (cavtat in general) ++ live music ++ gym - only french press coffee - drinks cost at dinner - no netflix - no salmon at breakfast

Has a week at this wonderful hotel. The rooms was great and very comfy, everything was clean and the staff were lovely. The breakfast was an immense choice and the Steakhouse was great. The views on both sides were amazing. The pool areas were clean, but I would say it is a shame this arwqaa not bigger for the amount if guests. It was so lovely getting the buggie down to Cavtat town and back and there were lots of fantastic places to eat as I would advise against half board as the one evening meal in the restaurant was really not worth the money.

Niks mis met de kamers of service en de locatie op de berg maakt ook niet uit door de aanwezigheid van een golfkarretje die je gratis op en neer brengt. Echter, het buffet is gewoon een standaard buffet en moeilijk om een plek te vinden voor meer dan 2 man door de grote hoeveelheid hotelgasten. Daarnaast betaal je natuurlijk ook veel voor het hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous hotel, located amongst tall pine trees with stunning views over all around. Our 7th floor room overlooked the sea, and it was thrilling to sit on our balcony early morning watching the swifts arc and dive across the sky. The room was spacious and kept beautifully clean by the housekeeping staff. We hadsoft towelling robes and slippers. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, friendly and helpful. Thank you Tonka and the travel ladies. There are plenty of sunbeds to lounge across the two pools and terraces. An unexpected highlight for us was Bruno's aqua sessions in the pool, cardio, pilates, we tried them all, he made it really fun and enjoyable. We stayed B+B basis, but also ate at the pool restaurant and the Steakhouse,. The choice at breakfast was amazing, really enjoyed different combos each day - fresh fruit, yoghurt, continental and cooked, including fresh omelette. My husband used the gym, and we both had treatments at the Spa. A very minor fault was a lack of storage for clothes in our room, and too few hangars, hence my four stars. Overall, we loved our stay, came back feeling very relaxed and refreshed. Thank you - we will definitely return.

Our second stay in this hotel and can't fault it at all. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly. We booked half board, planning to eat out a few days but enjoyed the hotel food so much we are there every night just choosing to have lunch out. ||There is a private area by the sea with sun beds and towels to use, we were always able to get three sunbeds together. The only place that was always full was by the outside pool where another guest told us people queue up in the morning to grab. This area didn't appeal to us at all as it was mainly families with young children and people drinking alcohol from the bar so we always went to the beach area or the inside pool where it is much quieter. ||The views from this hotel are outstanding. We could watch dolphins and the sunset from our hotel balcony. Stunning. ||One tip is to make sure you have enough sun cream etc as Cavtat is very expensive. €35 for a small bottle of suncream, €25 for a beach towel. The clothes in the shops are unbelievably expensive too. The only bad thing about the area as it really is beautiful

Just recently arrived back after the most wonderful holiday. ||The staff were all friendly and very helpful to answer our questions. ||The layout of complex took a moment to get use to, only because the reception is on the ground floor, but our accommodation was a floor below. |But that is because the hotel is built into the cliff face. ||Rooms are very nice and the housekeeper really looked after my family. ||If I had one gripe, the lift speeds were a little slow. But that is because my work involves lift maintenance, so I am being critical, but this does detract from my opinion of the hotel.

This as other people have said this is not a 5 star hotel,they have everything in place but lovely rooms and staff,facilities like the inside pool and outside pool||What let's it down badly is the evening meals,which other people have said about,the breakfast is very good but the evening meals try too hard to give too much verity rather than quality,the meat quality was OK but the preparation was either in sloppy food or dry,this hotel looks like it has a business model around UK customers but they need a chef that understands how to cook vegetables and carve up a nice piece of meat|The other thing is there is very little room for storage of clothes,high shelves and NO where to store your suitcase,Love Cavtat would go back again but not this Hotel

Located on the peninsular with stunning views of the town and bay, Hotel Croatia more than lived up to its recommendation from friends. Refurbished room with sea view was stunning with excellent facilities. Spacious room, with everything you need in terms of balcony, wardrobes, mini bar, safe, chairs and a large bathroom with rainfall shower (over bath). Incredibly clean, friendly staff and large choice of bars, restaurants and terraces to sit, all with amazing views. Indoor and outdoor pools, gym, spa, padel tennis and volleyball courts and table tennis, along with a wide range of activities and entertainment to include children's club and water sports. Food in hotel was excellent from the vast buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner options. For first time in years and although on B&B basis, we ate more in the hotel than out as food was excellent and excellent value. Steep steps down to 'beach area' and town, although regular shuttle available which took less than a minute for the journey up or down.. Sometimes difficult to get sun bed at pool or 'beach' although to be fair there were a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas and you could always find somewhere to sit on the many terraces. During a one week stay we kept finding new areas of the hotel to explore. Would recommend Hotel Croatia and Cavtat for couples and families.

The hotel is big, very big. In my view, too big. It’s over 200m from one end of the hotel to the pool. This doesn’t sound much, but when you go to/from your room each day, it gets tiring. And then there’s the amount of steps involved. There are 130 to the hotel’s ‘beach’. To be fair, you can wait for a golf buggy (which is free) to take you down. There are also a similar number of steps to the swim area on the south side of the hotel. This side is rocky, and open water swimming in the Adriatic. Once there, it’s an amazing swim.||The race for sunbeds is hilarious. I've never experienced it before. The pool opens at 08:00 and the queues for sunbeds start at 07:30. Once the pool opens, there’s a rush for the best ‘spot’. In my opinion, the best spot is on the terrace outside of the indoor pool. Sun all day. Near the pool and bar, and quieter than poolside. There was also a rush for these sunbeds. It’s actually quite entertaining watching grown men run for a towel and bed.||In my opinion, stating that the hotel has a beach is disingenuous. It has a dictionary definition of a beach, however, it is approx 50 feet long and 3 -10 feet wide. You won’t be playing beach volleyball on it, only dominoes! ||If you want to eat breakfast outside, you’ll need to be down no later than 08:30. Any later and you’ll be waiting or inside. It gets very busy.||The staff were really helpful and friendly. And the rooms were very clean. Although we felt that as it got busier, the standard dropped. We had to ask for a top-up of loo roll, and chase for towels a couple of times.
