From the outside looks like old communist building renovated into hotel. But, inside is better. Service is great, staff is awesome and speaking several languages, breakfast really nice and you have several shops close to it. Airport is close. 15-20 euros with taxi or 1.80 with the bus (you need to walk to the station around 400-500 m). Ljubljana is around 45 minutes by bus.

We made the reservation through Expedia three times for the New Year Eve, and every time the hotel contacted us saying our credit card payment didn't go through. Every time we were giving them another, perfectly well working cc #. In fact, they wanted to sell their room for a much higher price that the one listed on Expedia ($187 instead of $77), while we were duped into believing that something is wrong with our cards. We finally secured a room in another hotel, but wasted time with the greedy and unprofessional Garni Hotel Azul management.
