The hotel is situated high above Gruz and has amazing views however there are no bars or restaurants nearby . The walk down to Gruz is over 400 steps . There is a regular bus this means a walk to the bus along a very busy road with no pathway. The hotel itself caters for alot of bus tours Reception staff could be more helpful we asked about buses but they did not give any information about the prepaid cards which are cheaper than paying on the bus and they sell at Reception.
Hôtel sur les hauteurs donc prévoir des bon molets environ 400 marches à chaque fois où prendre les transports en commun.||Les chambres sont très bien avec deux piscines à disposition et une vue très belle apart ces deux immeubles vieillot de chaque côté de la vue de la piscine.||Un buffet petit dej très complet!||Un buffet du soir un peu moins Complet que le matin.|Attention toute les boissons sont payantes même l'eau.||Les tarifs des boissons que ça soit à l hôtel ou en ville sont un peu élevé.

Miles away from anywhere and on a steep hill above the port, nightmare walk! Although we had a room with a balcony on my booking with trip.com they refused to fulfil what we had been promised on our booking we ended up with no balcony. We complained at reception and in writing but they just blamed trip.com disgraceful. The bed side lights were loose and dangerous [I'm an electrician] The shower door did not close properly and it was dirty! The location could not be worse you have to get taxis everywhere! Ive seen bigger Bathrooms than the swimming pool area. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Everything was exceptional about this hotel! Really close to the old town (10 min by Uber), amazing view of the new town and great breakfast buffet! What won us over though was the outstanding hospitality of the staff (blonde lady and the gentleman at the reception ad well as the tall guy at the breakfast), who were always kind, smiling and helpful in addressing our various requests about restaurant recommendations, boat trips, check out times and other facilities! Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Adria Hotel has left us with anger and disappointment. The treatment we received during our stay was embarrassing. We stayed a total of 4 nights and discovered on the second night our room had bed bugs. The response from management to this situation was extremely unprofessional. We emailed, left our number and asked for the manager to speak to us - he never did, instead we had to communicate with front desk staff. At first, all we were offered were restaurant coupons for a meal as compensation. We were told by staff that “bed bugs happen and it is not our problem”, completely unacceptable. We had to fight with staff to receive at least the first 2 nights of our stay compensated, the least that should have been offered from the very beginning. My wife has close to 100 bed bug bites, has to apply medication every day, is embarrassed to attend a wedding, and cannot sleep at night. We’ve left now with ongoing concern about our luggage, and reduced quality of our vacation due to the stress of the situation. If management cares at all about this hotel, I expect a response to this review and further action taken.

For a 4 star hotel the management is definitely 1 star. We checked in at Adria hotel on June 12, 2025. The room we stayed in was infested with bed bugs. I had some spots appear throughout the day but unfortunately we didn’t realize it was bed bugs until the second night at 2am when I woke up with severe itching and we saw the bugs. The staff at reception moved our room temporarily but we had to wait for the manager to come in the next day to sort things out. We were out all day and were not able to speak with management so we left our phone number and email address for them to contact us. No one messaged us and when we got back to the hotel the staff gave us 2 dinner vouchers… embarrassing to think we were sleeping with bed bugs for 2 nights and that’s all the manager could offer us. We told the staff multiple times that the manager can talk to us directly (even after we reached out first through email) and not once did they speak with us. We had to argue with the manager through the staff to get any kind of compensation. I spent my entire vacation visiting pharmacies, taking medication, and applying steroid creams multiple times a day. Washing all my clothes and vacuuming my luggage. Not only physical, but the mental exhaustion of checking all my things daily in hopes that I didn’t pick up any bed bugs with me. We’re very unhappy with the response from the hotel, and quite honestly the compensation still wasn’t enough for what we’ve endured. It could have been handled better much better.

This hotel is located on top of a mountain with spectacular seaview, especially sunset. It is 10-15 min drive from downtown, a good size hotel mainly for the tour group. But.. the moment we saw the incredible sea view from our room, we realised that was the right choice because we could enjoy the beautiful sunset with an evening wine in the hotel terrace. Highly recommended if you want to avoid the downtown crowd.

Excellent hotel for staying in Dubrovnik. Amazing and clean rooms, breakfast is full of fresh and delicious food. In addition view from hotel is stunning. Two pools, gym and restaurant on top are also huge addition to staying at this hotel. Hotel service, people are very very friendly and professional. Uber to old town takes around 10 mins. Outside there are stairs leading to Marina. Quality in overall I would say is same as top hotel brands.

Séjour de 4j effectué à l’hôtel Adria. Les prestations sont convenables pour un 4 étoiles. L’accès est compliqué et dangereux pour les piétons et demande une vigilance particulière. Il faut marcher en file indienne sur la départementale depuis l’arrêt de bus pour remonter à l’hôtel. Un autre arrêt plus en amont et plus proche impose de traverser avec une visibilité réduite. Pour descendre dans la nouvelle ville afin de prendre le bus 3 ou 6 pour la vielle ville de Dubrovnik, il est possible d’emprunter une « ruelle » près de l’hôtel, mais celle-ci représente un dénivelé et un nombre de marches importantes. Pas adapté pour les personnes âgées, ou personnes avec des douleurs articulaires (genoux, chevilles). Bien que la vue au loin soit très chouette, le premier plan est pollué par deux tours défraîchies de plusieurs étages gâchant littéralement la vue. Le petit déj est Européen vraiment bien fournit. Il ne manque rien. Le repas du soir à 28eur en formule à volonté n’est pas mauvais, mais reste très basique, sans intérêt, pas de plats locaux et c’est dommage. Les desserts sont basiques, mal préparés et beaucoup trop sucrés.

Hotel con vistas preciosas, habitaciones grandes, cómodas y muy limpias. El desayuno super completo, personal muy agradable y hay opciones sin gluten; para todos los gustos. Las vistas desde donde está la sala para desayunar, son espectaculares. Sobre la ubicación para llegar desde el aeropuerto es muy rápido pero para ir al old town hay que andar mucho (unos 45-50 mins) y no es muy cómodo. Aconsejable usar Uber o Taxi.
