We recently completed a two night stay at the Esplanade, and we had a terrific stay. The room was excellent and the hotel itself is something special. We dined at Zinfandel one evening and it was the best meal in our month long tour of Europe. Most importantly, each and every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional.

ESPLANADE is a great hotel.Location is perfect,the breakafast is very good,the concierge has to be better informed ,||Definetely the best place to stay in Zagreb!!

From the hotel of this range I expected flawless experience. The reception,housekeeping and concierge were 5 of 5,but restaurant staff is unexperienced and unpleasant at some point.We wanted to order 2 glasses of champaign that were not included in a breakfast and pay for it, but the waitress refused to bring a winelist (she did). We offered to our friend to have a drink with us at the empty terrace ready for dinner ,but the waiter did not let us despite 2 of us were the guests of the Hotel and pushed us to the terrase the other side.The breakfast is poor for a 5 star hotel . No doorman at the entrance,so you have to open a big massive door by yourself, get out of the taxi and put your suitcase in the trank of a Taxi by yourself. Hotel needs a renovation, bathroom needs update. No swimming pool. A huge party with lod music was just under the window for Friday night till about 00.00-00.30. Unexaptable for a 5 star hotel guests! Overall is 3 of 5. Have to be honest 4 star hotel.

Beautiful grand building, rooms and bathrooms are fantastic. Unfortunately, the bar staff are very poor, not even acknowledged after 20 minutes of waiting - so we just left and the noise insulation between rooms is poor.

Hotel tradicional de estilo art nouveau con mezcla de Imperial, por este hotel pasaron infinidad de personalidades de la cultura mundial, del espectáculo, de arte y la política.- Habitaciones amplias, cómodas y de estilo.- Muy buen desayuno continental y ubicación céntrica frente a la estación de trenes de Zagred.-
