Despite beeing located in the city center on the metelkova street where there are metal/alternative concerts from time to time (good ones tho!) Its a very calm and relaxing place. The room are very interesting, yet comfortable and you get wuality sleep. I would advise travelers to visit and live a day of alternative sleeping experince 👌

De hostel is echt iets speciaal! Een oude gevangenis met geschiedenis! De kamers zijn oude cellen en echt iets voor mensen die een hostel gewoon zijn! De hostel is echt heel proper en het ontbijt is goed qua verhouding prijs/kwaliteit! Regelmatig treedt er een band life op en er is een toffe bar! De hostels op 10 minuten wandelafstand gelegen van het bruisend centrum Ljubljana! We zij. Er goed onthaalt en het personeel was zeer gedienstig ( info over het land en bezienswaardigheden) en vriendelijk! Een aanrader voor wie graag simpel en toch goed reist! Enig minpuntje: ze zouden enkele kapstokken mogen voorzien in de “kamers” Er zijn geen kasten ! Kort gezegd : het was een tof verblijf en aanrader als hostel !

Pokoje jsou sice mrňavý ale stačí jen pro spaní. V blízkosti je klub, kde se schází různá sebrenka a až do noci hraje hudba. Celá ta země se zasekla v devadesátých letech. Trochu mi to připomíná "My děti ze stanice zoo."V okolí motelu můžete nalézt nějaký jakýsi druh "umění" ze kterého naskakuje husí kůže. Viz. Foto Sochy různých oblud rozmístěné po celé té čtvrti. Jídlo dobré a čerstvé, personál milý a ochotný. Čisté moderní koupelny a WC.

Bad check-in experience/ wrong information on the website. I looked online and it said that the price for one night would be 12.00 Euro per night. When I came back in the afternoon to check in I was asked for 19.00 Euro. I checked again online and saw that the price (on their own website) was still 12.00 Euro. I went back to the reception to ask why they have charged me 19.00 Euro. The explanation was, that this is thier price if you book on spot. I am working in hospitality since 12 years and I havent experienced such a thing. It is always better for the hostel or hotel if the guest books and pays at the reception. Because than they save the commission of the third party or the booking engine, this is mostly 15% to 20%. That means they have saved the commission plus taken 7.00 Euro more. I dont believe this is fair. The receptionist didnt show any empathy for my situation, that was even more disappointing. Please be careful when you book this hostel.
