To the management of Good People Hostel, I'm writing to share some feedback about my recent stay at your hostel. While the location and facilities were good, I was deeply uncomfortable with the behavior of a male staff member named Mozão. He consistently and inappropriately flirted with my friends, even after they made it clear they were not interested. His actions made them feel harassed and unwelcome. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and creates a hostile environment for guests. I urge you to address this issue with him and ensure that all your staff understand the importance of respecting guests' boundaries. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Good people Прекрасный хостел, в 7-10 мин от центра города. Невероятно добрый и отзывчивый персонал, обращалась по самым разным вопросам, никогда не отказывали и все подробно объясняли и рассказывали. Удобные кровати, хорошее белье, можно закрыться шторкой, как в капсуле оказываешься, есть светильник и розетка. Милый внутренний дворик, классно там вечером время провести. Кухня со всем необходимым обородувоаанием для готовки (даже вафельницу видела, как у меня дома) Мой первый опыт ночёвки в хостеле, остались приятные впечатления. Рекомендую!

Imala sam priliku da odsednem ovde tokom 3 dana i najiskrenije nosim sa sobom jako lepe utiske. Soba, wc i kupatilo su prilično čisti. Posteljina takođe, a i krevet je udoban. Gosti su takođe pristojni što je po meni jako bitno i nije bilo baš nikakvih problema. Zaposleni su vrlo ljubazni, Marija je sjajna, preduzimljiva, pozitivna i na usluzi šta god zatreba. Što se lokacije tiče, nije mogla biti bolja. U srcu Dorćola, a opet daleko od buke. Zaista sve sjajno i sve preporuke. Ako bude bilo prilike, sigurno ću se vratiti ovde.

One of the best hostels that i've been to! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with every question I had. The whole place is spotless, and the rooms smell fresh and well-kept. I appreciated that they allow you to store your bags securely even after checkout. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet still within walking distance of the city center. I also loved the capsule-style beds, they offer a great sense of privacy. And the garden is lovely bonus! Highly recommended.

Rodzina 2+3,nocka w podróży do Albanii, czysto ,pokój super, łazienki łączone, ale wystarczające. Centrum,obok knajpki. Jest kuchnia,jest dobra organizacja. Polecam.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Good People Hostel, but what truly made our experience special was Dragana at the reception. We had a last-minute issue with our transport to Zagreb, and she went above and beyond to help us. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring. It’s rare to meet someone so warm and helpful — thank you, Dragana, for making us feel so welcome and supported! ❤️

Unfortunately, my stay here was a major disappointment. Although my check-in was earlier, I returned to the hostel around 2 AM to sleep, only to discover that one of the guests in the shared room was snoring so loudly it was impossible to get any rest. When I approached the front desk for help, I was told they couldn’t do anything and was simply advised to buy earplugs from a pharmacy at 2 AM… No other solution was offered, and no empathy shown. I ended up leaving the hostel around 4 AM and sleeping in my car. When I later requested a refund for a night I couldn’t actually sleep at the property, they refused. This was by far one of my worst hostel experiences not because someone snored (that can happen), but because of how poorly and rudr the situation was handled. If you value even. basic hospitality or sleep, I’d suggest looking elsewhere Update: The response from the hostel is, frankly, a textbook example of deflection, sarcasm, and complete lack of accountability. Let’s be clear: my complaint was not about the concept of shared dorms or the fact that people snore. I’ve stayed in dozens of hostels around the world — I know how dorms work. The issue was the absolute failure of your staff to respond to a guest in distress at 2 AM. Telling someone to “go buy earplugs from a pharmacy” at that hour is neither a solution nor a professional response — it’s lazy and dismissive. And no, this wasn’t normal snoring. It wasn’t “quirky” or “inevitable” — it was aggressive, thunderous, and nonstop. Think truck engine idling through a megaphone inside the room. Calling it snoring is like calling an earthquake “a gentle shake.” Instead of offering any genuine support, your staff showed no empathy, and your management now doubles down with sarcasm. That says everything about your hospitality standards. To future travelers: if something goes wrong here, expect indifference wrapped in condescension. You’re on your own.

I am very disappointed with my experience. Despite the booking clearly stating that refunds are possible with the accommodation’s approval, I was refused any refund without a valid explanation. Their customer service was unhelpful and refused to respond to further inquiries. This caused me significant stress and inconvenience, as I could not enter the country due to visa issues beyond my control. I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone who values fair treatment and clear communication. Please be cautious when booking here.
