Excellent hostel. I opted for a private room. it had a real prison feel. The bunk bed was very hight and precarious, but I managed it without incident. The bathrooms were fine and had hot water. The kitchens were clean and functional. All the usual hostel amenities, including a good breakfast.|The location was great. 5 mi. walk to the train and bus stations and a slightly longer walk to the historic centre.|At night the area around the hostel was super busy with partying people, loads of street art and music. Some people might find it off putting or too loud. I did not.

Excellent hostel. We slept in a room for 12 people, and it was quiet, pleasant, safe and comfortable. The building is very nice and unique, a former prison, and it situated in a shared complex with a well-known cultural site in Ljubljana. There is free parking, which is an important plus in a city where the parking is extremely expensive. The breakfast is also pretty good, and the location, even if it is a bit outside the city center, is within walking distance of pretty much everything.

We are really grateful!!! When we came in the late night escaping from the war in Ukraine and we had no place to go - this hostel granted us accomodation for the night! We had a shower and common room , and breakfast! The personnel is really kind ❤️ Thank you and wish you all the best!

very cool project that they have done here. This remodeled jail is a very unique hostel to stay in. It is within walking distance of old town and the staff are very helpful.

Hermoso hostal, es una prisión renovada con muy lindos detalles y espacios. Las habitaciones están muy bien y las áreas comunes también. Además sus actividades no son las típicas de hostal, sino con cuestiones más culturales y también con la comunidad. El desayuno super bien y también es un espacio muy seguro. Son muy amables. Super recomendable
