I stayed at this hotel in Belgrade totally by chance, after my original booking somewhere else got cancelled… and wow, I’m SO glad it did! This place turned out to be one of the most unique and cozy hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s located right on the Danube River, which gives it a super peaceful and beautiful vibe, and it’s also next to a park, so the whole area feels really relaxing. The rooms were absolutely lovely,clean, stylish, and seriously cozy. The breakfast was okay, nothing too fancy but definitely enough to start the day. What really made the stay special, though, were the people working there. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. There are just a couple of things to keep in mind, the parking area is a bit of a walk from the hotel, so you’ll need to carry your luggage for a few minutes. Also, there are some stairs not too many, but still worth mentioning if accessibility is important to you. Oh, and they have the sweetest little cat hanging around, which honestly made everything even better ❤️

Υπεροχη εμπειρια κ φανταστικη η ιδεα του πλωτου ξενοδοχειου στον Δουναβη. Φανταστικοι οι ανθρωποι του hostel, προθυμοι να σε εξυπηρετησουν σε οποιαδηποτε απορια. Ο Αλεξανδρος στην υποδοχη, ειναι η ζωντανη διαφημιση του arka barka αλλα και της φιλοξενης Σερβιας. Ενα-δυο ποτα αργα το βραδυ στις οχθες του Δουναβη ποτε δεν ειναι αρκετα (ειδικα οταν υπαρχει η καλη παρεα ρου οικοδεσποτη) κ υποσχομαστε να το επανελθουμε! Εις το επανειδην φιλοι μας Σερβοι. υσ1: πολυ ικανοποιητικο το πρωινο για hostel υσ2: τοσο καλες ιδεες οπως αυτη του ArkaBarka, πρεπει να συντηρουνται λιγο περισσοτερο, αφου ως πλωτο ξενοδοχειο υφισταται την φυσικη φθορα του ποταμου. Αυτο (κ καποιες παραπανω μικρες . .αραχνες -λογω της εγγυητητας με το ποταμι) ηταν το μονο αρνητικο της εμπειριας, ομως η φλικοτητα του προσωπικου κ η τοποθεσια, μας,εκαναν να αγαπησουμε πολυ το μερος κ τους ανθρωπους του. Σας ευχαριστουμε.

Very cool hostel, not the first time here. Day one was very hot, nearly 40 degrees, but at night the temperature was OK. All rooms got brand new air conditioning! The location is nice, at the river. To walk into the old down it will take maybe 20 minutes? Near the hostel I found multiple pizza places, google for pizza with maps in that area (I was Di Napoli and Pizza Bar). The hostel offers different IPA - I tried them all.

Tuna nehrinin kıyısında muhteşem bir manzaraya sahip hostel. Balkonda nehri izleyerek keyif yapabilirsiniz. Pencereden baktığınızda sanki televizyon izliyor gibi hissetmeniz mümkün, büyüleyici bir yer. Kahvaltıda salatalık, domates, peynir, zeytin, reçeller, yumurtalı ekmek vb. vardı. Mutfakta her zaman erişebileceğiniz bir sebil de mevcut, burdan şişeleri doldurup gezeken bol bol su içebilirsiniz. Malum dehidrasyon önemli. Hostelin hizasından yürüyüp ana caddeye çıkarsanız burada otobüs durakları var. (Belgrad'da 2025 Ocak itibariyle toplu taşıma ücretsiz oldu, rahatça kullanabilirsiniz)

Visit here! Like seriously. The people who work here are just WONDERFUL. They are so helpful and kind, and really just a great face for Serbia. Be warned because of the water you will see a lot of bugs outside, but these guys are phenomenal at cleaning and making a cozy environment.

Leider sind der Bootsteg und die Terrasse ziemlich marode. Müll im Wasser...Den man entfernen könnte, hätte man nur Zeit vom Handy wegzukommen... Der angepriesen Parkplatz ist ca. 800 m entfernt und mit dem Gepäck ist dies nicht so lustig...

Unique stay on the river. We had an apartment with a balcony which was lovely in the evenings. The WiFi was not working during our stay which was a problem for us using our mobile network as Serbia is outside the EU. Also note there is no direct bus from the inconvenient location of the new bus station, although this is not the hostels problem, just something to be aware of. The rooms were basic but was to be expected.

Ja, der Ort liegt etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt, dafür aber sehr schön am Wasser. Das Zentrum erreicht man zu Fuß in ca. 30 Minuten oder mit dem kostenlosen Bus in ca. 10 Minuten. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet. Das Frühstück ist lecker und ausreichend 😋. Und das Personal sehr freundlich 😊
