This is an older Mercator but the biggest one in Celje and it is a gold mine. You can find so many things here that the smaller Mercators don't have: cheddar cheese, smoked trout, Italian pasta sauces, many kinds of fresh pasta, and more. I get bored of the limited foods in my small town but I don't always want to go to Ljubljana. This is a good alternative. Getting here by public transit is a bit annoying (the bus (line 3) loops out from Celje to a nearby village and back before stopping at Mercator) but cheap taxis are also available. Highly recommended for deprived gourmands.
