This place has become one of the worst tourist traps you can choose when planning where to go for a fast food lunch or dinner in Ljubljana. The food is on the level of Mcdonald’s or grilled and fried food at highway Gass stations; with a big difference that at Pop’s Place you will have to pay 3 times more to have even a worse experience: just for the cheapest, small sized beef burger almost 13 euros, for chicken burger almost 14 euros, for greesy and unattractively served fish&fries (again, the taste worse than Mcfish burger) almost 18 euros … and there is not much other to choose from their menu. For vegetarians they only have one option, a veggie burger, but they don’t have’s it always and in such situations they can offer french fries or Chicken Caesar salad with no chicken. Unfortunately this is not a joke. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Me and 2 friends visited them on 30th July 2023, when I received a long black hair in the ketchup dip which they agreed to exchange but with no apology and no question at the end if we liked the food. Haughty and disinterested waiter has just brought us a bill of 60 euros for food mentioned above + one normal portion of french fries and two beers. And there was no final, have a nice day or just goodbye. You will get a much better experience and service at a nearby Hood Burger or any other place in Ljubljana, even McDonald’s. I would seriously advise the restaurant manager to review the current level of service as this place is owned by a family that manages also the As Aperitivo Restaurant, one of the most prominent and expensive restaurants in Ljubljana, and casts a bad light on the owners. Don’t come here but if you do, don’t let them treat you with poor food and service.

Nachdem wir uns einen verregneten Tisch gesucht und diesen sauber gemacht hatten, warteten wir eine halbe Stunde und wurden nicht bedient. Nach versuchter Kontaktaufnahme bekamen wir nur einen dummen Kommentar von der Bedienung. Ich kann das Lokal leider nicht empfehlen....

During the rain a table next to the river was empty so we placed ourselves there to order some food. No one else was waiting but the waiter did not serve us anything as when the rain stopped other people were waiting in a queue that was not present during the rain. He said we must wait in the queue in order to get some food... Didn't get that as we were there much longer

Great food, chilled music and awesome service. We had burgers and our guy Jake recommended some fantastic beers. Absolute must visit if you’re in Ljubljana and make sure you’re looked after by Jake.

Die Burger waren gut, jedoch sehr klein für den Preis! Die Pommes und er Burger waren schon kälter. Der Preis für die wenigen Pommes ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Am Ende haben wir leider 30 Minuten auf die Rechnung gewartet. Tipp: Nehmt nicht Diese Potato's mit dem Käse => Nicht überbacken und alles liegt nur in dem Eimer.

"Craft Beer place". We only serve food; not given seat despite it being a few free tables and 21:30 in the evening, pouring rain. Convince the server to give us one of the free tables, decide to order some food to be nice. Try to order the beer tastig: "we're out of taster glasses". No-one anywhere having beer tasting glasses on their tables... Bad service and not a good place to grab a beer or have a beer tasting...
