Disappointed. I ordered grilled squid. I think it was fried in a Teflon pan. Soggy and no good. My kids ordered Club Sandwiches and they were soggy. The only good part was the beer was cold. Sad experience. We also got seated in front of a “stash” place so the waitress was running behind our table all the time. Even if there was seats available in better spots.

Jako nam se svidjelo, hrana je bila odlična, a usluga vrhunska. Nema stranih radnika, sve su naši ljudi koji pričaju hrvatski. Sve pohvale za izbor pića. Pogled na more i divna glazba. Jedino su cijene napuhane.

Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and beautiful view of the harbour. Food was ok but would come again maybe try other dishes. Wine could be slightly better but they may specialise in cocktails and beers.

During our trip to Cavtat, my friends and I found ourselves coming back to Ivan’s every single day, sometimes even twice! That alone says a lot. The location is perfect, right by the sea with the most beautiful view. The food was consistently delicious, with plenty of options and at a very fair prices. The staff is something else too, so welcoming and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Ivan himself, who was incredibly patient and attentive with us. This restaurant became such a special part of our Croatian experience, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

We stopped for a lunchtime meal and drink. The waiter was just great. Very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, the music is a nice change from the normal over loud pop. Highly recommend 👍🏻😊 Update: We returned the next day Sunday) with friends and were disappointed in the wait for drinks, the wait for food (45 minutes) the service. There weren’t many tables and I think there was a problem in the kitchen. They said they had to change the gas, but that is a 5 minute job and a restaurant shouldn’t run out. The happy smiley waiter from the previous day barely acknowledged us, and even when we tried to pay the bill, it wasn’t easy. To be honest, if we had this experience yesterday, we wouldn’t have come back. You need to be consistent, and Ivan’s is not. 🙁

Great food, service and location. We had grilled squid, cuttlefish risotto and carbonara which were all great. And the view of the bay is nice. It also seems a bit more quiet than at old town (5 minutes walk) where all the boats from Dubrovnik arrive

Después del agobio de Dubrovnik nos encontramos este restaurante tranquilo. En un lugar magnífico con vistas maravillosas, la comida muy bien, tanto el plato de carne para 2 como los pescados, la lubina y la dorada al Grill. El servicio muy agradable y precio el esperado, sobre 33€.

I took a day trip to Cavtat and stopped here for lunch. I had the set menu which was had fish soup as starter, grilled squid with potato salad as main and then ice cream for dessert. I thought that the set menu was good value for money and was very filling. I also had a pina colada cocktail which was tasty. I was little bit let down by the service as the restaurant wasn't that busy. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience with delicious local food.
