It is close to the place where bones of civilians killed by Yugoslav partisans were found in a mass grave. Here begins a narrow dirt road which leads to the forest. Don’t take it by car if raining, unless you drive a 4x4. Family Bernardić helped me here with my car when it got sunk in the mud, I will never forget their help and hospitality. Nikola is a farmer and his wife works at restaurant Žumberački raj in the beginning of Žamarija village. They raise sheep here.

This church is in the middle of the forest, close to the local cemetery. It is empty and closed, it is interesting that several people were killed here in the past, not sure during which war, and their bones were found some time ago in a massive grave next to the church. Excellent people live here, specially Bernardić family who helped me in a car accident I had while it was raining in the forest. Thanks Nikola, Stefica and Niko junior. This village is paradise!
