At Kavarna Moderna, coffee enthusiasts can indulge in a remarkable selection of freshly roasted beans, including varieties like Kostarika Linda Vista, Indonezija Sumatra Mandheling, and Kenya Kevote AB. Each 250g package is priced economically, ensuring that quality coffee is accessible. For those wanting to explore a broader range, a special tasting set of three 250g bags is available.
Cocktails and Evening Offerings
In addition to its specialized coffee, Kavarna Moderna has also embraced the craft cocktail movement, offering both classic coffee-infused cocktails and unique signature drinks. This melding of coffee culture and mixology sets Kavarna Moderna apart as a premier destination for both day and evening enjoyment.
Expanding its offerings, the establishment has opened a sister venue, Bar Ribarnica, at the Ljubljana market. Here, patrons can enjoy a daily coffee selection alongside a vibrant cocktail menu in the evenings.

Obiska ne priporočam. Osebje je nevljudno in negostoljubno. Kavarno smo obiskali deset minut pred koncem delovnega časa. Odklonili so strežbo z navedbo, da pijače ne strežejo več, čeprav delovni čas ni potekel. Kljub temu, da je na terasi sedelo še polno gostov in da smo osebju zagotovili, da se ne bomo zadrževali, da bi radi izvedli le eno naročilom in kljub temu, da je bil še uradni delovni čas, nas osebje ni želelo postreči. Absolutno neprimeren odnos do gostov.

Very good specialty coffee in an interesting hidden spot. I had both the flat white and the batch filter brew and they were delicious. Same goes for the banana bread. Prices, being specialty coffee, are obviously a bit higher than other places. It's a good place to put some light work in too. There aren't many plugs and the music can be a bit loud though

The coffee was very good. The space is interesting, the service is nice :) I recommend to enjoy coffee when visiting the museum. I found the prices a bit overpriced.

We took coffee and had a seat in front of the house. I really enjoyed it, looking at the people going by, heading for Tivoli park or elsewhere. And all the incredible buildings and the greenery around. Very friendly staff, coffee was tasty.
