From the first moment I contacted Andy Swan Driver Services I was hooked. They are a professional company very knowledgeable and experienced. I enquired about obtaining my CPC and what was needed. As I already had my HGV licence, I was given lots of information regarding the Module 2 ‘Case Study’ and module 4 Practical Demonstration from Nikki. I completed my Module 4 at Andy Swan and a big thank you to Steve for carrying out the theory with me. A big thank you to Andy himself, who was very calm and reassuring, for carrying out the assessment on the day. I have just recently taken their new two-day course ‘A Gateway to Logistics’ covering a wide range of topics that will surely help me to pursue a career within the industry. A big thank you to Sam for all her help and to Mike our instructor for the two days. Actually, a big thank you goes to everyone associated with Andy Swan as they all provide an excellent service. If you’re looking at getting into the HGV industry this the company to contact for your training needs. They are welcoming, supportive, and understand your needs. Well, what can I say......., I walked in the office at andy swans, with a query,..., I walked out with a class one licence...,...I choose andy Swan driver services, for one simple reason....they care....., I have a disability,...,... no need for long details... ,I could not speak for 12months, due to a cancer op. Whilst trying to sort out my drivers medical. A employee of andy Swan, went the extra mile to help me......., Nothing was too much trouble......,I decided,... I wanted to go from rigid, to bendy....., and Mr Swan and his team, were my only choice. They didn't disapoint... Mike Williams, was honest, knowledgeable, patience,.... and at times(bored) as he guided me to my goal...., I passed my test, with a clean sheet...... , because Mike Williams, taught me how to pass my test.... I went to Andy Swans for my medical, so by chance enquired to their services while I was there. Met Andy who introduced me to Alex who explained everything to me, and what they offered and gave me a quote for a training package for Class 1, C & E. It took me a little while to consider everything and take in all the various levels of training required. I completed my theories separately in my own time. When I got back in touch Alex was happy to tailor my package to adjust for theories. He answered all my questions, I was happy, and a slot had become available just a few weeks later, so I went ahead. Sam sorted everything in the office. 👍 Training was great, sometimes hard work, but you get back what you put in. Dan showed me how to handle a 16 metre plus long artic and follow the rules of the road at class 1 level. Alex did my CPC training and accompanied me on my test. I passed first time! Everyone was supportive and helpful. Overall a great experience. So thanks to everyone for your help and answering all of my questions. 👍

A great family run business I was very nervous and on edge as it was a last minute decision Alex and Andy were great to get me in and the office staff were more than happy to. Truly goabove and beyond to give the best training possible and make sure every candidate gets the pass. What an absolute gem of a company. It was so thorough but easy. The first contact with Sam who talked me through the process, got the medical and theory booked in no time really set the tone for my time training. I had the pleasure of spending time with everyone at some point but my instructor was Alex who was quality. Fun, relaxed but thorough and genuinely a sound person to learn from. Mike was great on the day I had him, and I had the pleasure of also spending time with Harry & Andy. Final shoutout goes to the dogs who are great distractions from the nerves. I had always wanted to drive an HGV but life and previous careers had always got in the way. As soon as I was fortunate enough to find myself in a position to change my career, I contacted Andy Swan Driver Services to discuss my requirements. I was invited down to discuss everything and was given a tour of a wagon and was able to meet the team. This made me feel utterly confident that I had chosen the correct instructors. The team sorted everything out for me from my medical, provisional licence, theory and hazard practice materials, tests were booked and all my training was tailored around when I was available. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. On my first morning of training I was greeted by Mike (my instructor throughout my training) and he immediately filled me with confidence and I could not have wished for a better instructor. He was patient, knowledgeable and no question (of the thousands I asked) was too daft. Mike made the whole experience enjoyable and he was extremely positive and encouraging. I passed my HGV C+E test first time and a massive amount of the credit for that has to go to the guys at Andy Swan Driver Services and specifically Mike. If you are considering doing ANY HGV training I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! I have attached a picture of me after passing to show how happy driving an HGV can make you.
