Very interesting castle uniting modern architecture with historic buildings. We took the funicular up and explored the castle using the Audio guide. Plan plenty of time for this, as there are several small Museums, panoramic views etc

Really nice castle, with a wonderful view over the city. We did the Castle Escape tour which was SO much fun (especially the surprise at the end). With it you also get access to all the payed parts of the castle. Recommend it to every one that wants a bit of a quest!

Raggiungibile dal centro città con la teleferica che in 1 minuto porta nel cuore della fortezza. In alternativa, un bel percorso pedonale. Per persone a mobilità ridotta (e i più pigri 😉) è a disposizione un parcheggio all'ingresso delle mura. La vista dalla torre è a 360° sulla città. Un viaggio nel passato, anche attraverso il museo delle marionette in cui vi potete divertire ad inventare storie e muovere alcuni personaggi.

I enjoyed the funicular ride and the open area in the middle of the castle but the building and its history - I was not so impressed compared with other European castles.

È il castello che sovrasta la capitale, si può arrivare a piedi , con la funivia ed in auto; personalmente abbiamo optato x salire a piedi dalla piazza del mercato. Arrivati al castello è quasi tutto visitabile gratuitamente e nel cortile interno ci sono diversi locali x mangiare; Interessante la zona della prigione e la cappella, la salita sulla torre invece è a pagamento. Da visitare assolutamente se andate a Lubiana anche perché offre scorci magnifici sulla città

It worth to visit, we used funiculaire to reach the castle and there are also options of walk, drive and bike. It costs Euros 13 per person for visit and return ticket. Senior discount is also available, 2Euros is the charge for audio guide. exhibitions and museum not really rich and intresting. lots of stairs to go up and down so not very friendly for elderly people or persons with limited mobility.

Leider kostet die Fahrt mit der Seilbahn 13euro.man kann auch laufen.es ist sehr steil.wenn man in der Gabelung links abbiegt ist es besser zu gehen.oben dann am Turm muss man wenn man ganz nach oben will nochmal 10euro bezahlen.5euro würden auch reichen.😠

Moderně zrekonstruovaný hrad, který tvoří dominantu Lublaně. Nádvoří hradu lze navštívit i bez vstupenek, ale mohu doporučit vstupenku na věž, odkud je skvělý výhled na celé město. Bohužel záchody jsou zde špinavé a placené, i když máte vstupenku.
