Für uns jedes Jahr ein Muss. Aber leider haben das auch andere gemerkt 🥹

Haben an der Crkva Svetoga Križa geparkt und sind zur Ruine gewandert. Schöner und nicht sehr schwieriger Weg, etwa 1-2 km, mit Kindern gut machbar, die Bäume bieten Schatten. Festes Schuhwerk erforderlich, hier ist Schlangengebiet. Für Fans ein absolutes muss! Wir haben auf dem Weg dorthin eine Hornviper entdeckt und mehrere Schlangenhäute am Treppenaufgang zur Ruine gefunden. Wer es noch schafft, kann anschließend noch die betrunkenen Gleise besuchen. Ist aber nochmal ein 1-2 km Marsch in die andere Richtung, daher haben wir 2 Besuche draus gemacht. Doppelte Chance auf Reptiliensichtung ;-)

Super interessante alte Burg die Mitten im Gebirge liegt. Der Wanderweg dorthin aus Richtung Kozjlak ist wirklich sehr schön, aber auch etwas fordernd. Kinderwägen und Bollerwägen sind definitiv fehl am Platz. Ansonsten tolle Atmosphäre und atemberaubender Blick.

Die Wanderung zur Ruine ist bereits ein Erlebnis für sich – ein breiter Pfad führt durch abwechslungsreiche Natur, und wer gerne wandert, kommt hier definitiv auf seine Kosten. Wichtig zu wissen: Auf dem Weg können Schlangen anzutreffen sein – festes Schuhwerk und Achtsamkeit sind also empfehlenswert. Die Ruine selbst ist verfallen, aber gerade das macht ihren Charme aus. Überwachsene Mauern, von der Natur zurückerobert, verleihen dem Ort eine mystische Atmosphäre. Sitzgelegenheiten sucht man hier allerdings vergebens, und wer rasten möchte, muss sich mit einem Platz auf dem Boden oder einem Stein begnügen. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön und definitiv die Mühe wert. Wer ein wenig Abenteuergeist mitbringt und sich nicht an der Wildnis stört, wird diesen Ort lieben. Wer es gern etwas komfortabler mag, sollte sich auf die Gegebenheiten einstellen.

The whole complex of castle ruins is mostly abandoned, but some places of it are spectacular. It's quite ok to leave the place to visitors' imagination.
