The best coffee place in Ljubljana. Amazing service, consistancy, knowledge, and out of this world home-made pies. Couldn't recommend more. Can be crowded at times, but it makes sense. PS: You should also check out the museum it's based in. EDIT: Also offers coffee cuppings, barista workshops, etc.

Nice ambience (entrance through a museum), ok service, a few tarts to choose from if you fancy a dessert with your coffee. We came specifically to have a good specialty coffee and ordered two coffees with milk; unfortunately it was too milky so we couldn't taste the coffee well. Next time I would go for an esprsso. Prices are a bit higher, for example coffee with milk is 3€.

Man sitzt unter einer Rampe, eingefasst von viel Glas sehr stylish. Die angebotenen Kaffeespezialitäten sind von ausgesuchter Qualität. Sie haben sogar Cascara auf der Karte, eine Art Tee aus der Kaffeekirsche (Obacht: sehr hoher Koffeingehalt). Die Preise sind eher hoch, dafür ist alles sehr lecker (auch der Pflaumenkuchen - dicke Empfehlung!)

Fantastic coffee, wonderful pastry, a very pleasant decor and terrific service. Just the best. Highly, highly recommended if you want the very best coffee experience. Truly impressive. I have had cappuccino's in some of the best places in the world. This rivals them in every way. Just the best. And they have actual Geisha coffee plants in the cafe. Very cool.

Die Kuchen waren lecker und große Stücke. Kaffee war gut, das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat auf den Geschmack der verschiedenen Bohnen hingewiesen. Wir haben den Cappuccino mit fermentierten Bohnen genossen :) [achtung dies ist nicht jedermanns Geschmack]

I'm not sure if it's unfortunate that this gem is easy to miss because all you see is a tiny display on the street, or if this helps keeping the place not toooo well-known. Here it's not about being seen but to enjoy top-notch coffee, cake and a wonderfully calm green garden view, despite technically being in a basement. These people know their craft. If I ever come to Ljubljana again and only have time for exactly one coffee place, it would be this one.
