"Chill in a living room or on a sunny terrace." When you've traveled around the sun forty times like me, a cozy living room with a comfortable sofa might be all you wish for at the end of the day. Now, that's where Daktari comes into play! If places could be superheroes, Daktari would be one of them. During the day, it's your friendly neighborhood café—the ideal location to read a book or newspaper in peace, write notes in your diary, or observe people frantically scurrying through the streets while sipping coffee. At night it transforms into a vibrant spot that hosts miscellaneous social events and attracts various personalities. That said, you can relax on their terrace when the sun is out and the weather allows it. I, for one, love sipping on my coffee while my partner scavenges for fresh produce at the nearby market on Saturday. Although the terrace is a great place to relax, it's inside where the magic happens. Daktari has an eclectic mixture of vintage furniture and stuffed bookshelves. Imagine sipping on a local beer or wine in what could be your grandma's living room. During the weekends, I love meeting up with my friends in this local bar that feels so familiar. As a bonus, on the hour, during the day, you can see Martin Krpan and his little mare performing their little routine on top of Ljubljana's Puppet Theatre. So, order a coffee or a homemade iced tea and stick around for a while.

Previdno pri plačilu s karticami - preverite znesek, ker včeraj si je natakar kar sam, samovoljno izbral 15% napitnino. Ob vprašanju tega ni zanikal in je ponudil vračilo. Beware when paying with cards - always check the amount, as yesterday the waiter picked 15% tip on his own. When confronted he did not deny it and offered to return it.

Great little bar by the funicular Upton the castle. Lots of nooks and crannies. Comfy sofa's. Oh and a bizzare collection of vacuum cleaners in the back????? But heyho still a great bar. Reccomended

Wir waren Abends da und wollten noch was trinken. Haben eine sehr schöne Auswahl und auch die Terasse an dem Parkplatz ist ruhig. Wenn man richtig rum sitzt, hat man ständig eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Burg. Die Cocktails waren lecker und der Service gut, leider war nur eine Bedienung unterwegs, dauerte ein bisschen. Aber egal, waren ja im Urlaub :-) Gerne wieder :-)
