Worst experience ever. Do not rent with them. It is a Franchise so you will literally get no help at all. I was in the hotline trying to reach someone for more than a day 24 calls and always redirected to call another time. Then they charged more than on the bill written down besides not habing the car i booked. Got a reaaally cheap one for a lot of money because they said that that was the rate at the airport. Bit it was their fault my specific car was not there they i quote thought: „it is raining we didn‘t think you would need a convertible“. 5 days later, more phonecalls, returning the car and asking for help there again just another number that doesn‘t pick up. And i even speak croatian sooo would‘t want to know how they trest foreign people.

Alquile un mediano automático y como no tenían respetaron mi reserva y me dieron un mediano de alta gama automático. El auto excelente!!!! Avoid this Sixt local office if possible. Totally scam. 1. They told me that I need to pay $16/day for a document just to past the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina and I can pay a total of $20/day, to get the document free + Damage waiver. This would be $140 for my 7-day trip but the final bill was over $410. 2. They asked to return the car with minimum fuel but never disclosed that you need to pay for the full tank regardless, which is about $90. I'm Ok if it is mandatory to prepay the fuel but at least I need to be informed about this. 3. This office is NOT operated by Sixt but more like a licensed independent operator so DO NOT expect any help from the Sixt company should anything went wrong. The Sixt company would only tell you that they cannot access the local system of this independent operator.
