Die Mitarbeiterin am Airport Schalter war sehr nett, das Auto sauber und in 20min bereitgestellt. Die Versicherung war sinnvoll und Auto wie beschrieben. Es gab keine Probleme bei der Übernahme und Abgabe. Das einzige was schade ist ist das der Online Preis bei Booking o.ä. Abweicht zu dem Vor Ort und zwar deutlich. Also evtl früh online buchen! Sonst super :)

ARNAQUE A FUIR !!!!!!! Je met 1 étoile parce que l'agence m'a loué un véhicule. Pour tout le reste, cette agence est à fuir absolument : frais supplémentaires qui n'apparaissent nul part dans les conditions de location et qui sont obligatoires à verser (frais qui dépassent les centaines d'euros). Tous les documents qu'ils remettent à signer sont en Croate. Suite à des problèmes avec le véhicule, l'agence se justifie finalement avec des documents en Anglais ! Des professionnels d'une mauvaise fois qui dépasse l'entendement. Aucune vérification du véhicule à l'arrivée mais ils l'épluche à la remise et trouvent bien sûr des dommages (pourtant inexistants). Remise du véhicule sans le plein d'essence avec l'obligation de le rendre avec le plein d'essence. Et au final une facture de location qui a triplée par rapport à la facture de départ. A fuir absolument !!!!!!

Attention agence à éviter Le low cost se rattrape par des pratiques abusive tout en se cachant derrière des contrats de location écrit en croate donc difficilement compréhensible pour un étranger. D autant plus que les agent d acceuil vous dise sans cesse "no problem" sans vous parler des articles desdits contrat . Pour quelques égratignure sur la carrosserie faite alors que j avais déjà rendu le véhicule en parfait état avant l ouverture de l agence j en ai pour près de 800 euros. Difficile de prouver le contraire une fois rentrer chez moi. Pardonnez moi mon avions était tôt le matin. Ils mettront en réponse de ce commentaire que c était précisé dans le contrat.... et que j était responsable du véhicule garer sur leur parking tant Qu ils ne l ont pas eux même réceptionné. Pour avantcar le client n est pas roi mais l argent si.... 💰 💰 💰 💰 Peu importe la réputation tant qu on peu faire du blé.... Agence à ne pas prendre

The worst car rent that I’ve ever had. They charged me additionally 300 euro just because they do not accept debit card for deposit. The only credit card is accepted by them.

J’ai payé 122,89€ pour une location de voiture via Booking chez Avantcar. Sur place, la voiture m’a été refusée car je n’avais pas de carte de crédit (seulement carte de débit). Il voulait me faire payer 200€ de plus pour récupérer la voiture. Je n’ai jamais récupéré le véhicule, et pourtant j’ai été remboursé de 0€. Booking reconnaît que la voiture n’a pas été prise, mais refuse tout geste. Résultat : 122,89€ perdus pour un service jamais rendu. Inacceptable.

Excellent service. A little late in giving us the car as it was getting cleaned but it was immaculate and the girl helping us was great. The desk didn't push the insurance (I had my own) which was appreciated as other companies do.

⚠️ Warning, big scam risk if you don't take their expensive insurance, you might end up paying for their car repairs yourself. They might give you a car in poor technical condition. In our case, the clutch was faulty from the very first kilometers. We reported it immediately into an email and were told to keep driving. Result: complete clutch failure after one hour, on the highway, a very dangerous situation where we were stuck for 2 hours. Then they took €2,000 from the credit card for the repairs, without warning and without even waiting for the garage report, which we’re still waiting for nearly a month later. It seems like they get their car repairs done for free at the customers’ expense. No follow-up, no serious service, no accountability. If you rent, be very careful. They won’t take responsibility, and you might end up paying a fortune for a defect car.

❌ Fast eine Stunde Wartezeit am Schalter – ohne Information oder Entschuldigung. ❌ Der Check-in: langsam, unorganisiert, kaum Unterstützung durch das Personal. ❌ Fahrzeug angeblich nicht verfügbar, weil wir zu früh da waren – wir mussten für einen zusätzlichen Tag zahlen. ❌ Kreditkarte meiner Partnerin wurde erst akzeptiert, nachdem ich eine völlig überteuerte Versicherung abschließen musste (~200 € extra). ❌ Trotz bezahlter "sofortiger Verfügbarkeit" warteten wir über 2 Stunden in der prallen Sonne – mit Kleinkindern, ohne Betreuung, Wasser oder Info. ❌ Das Ersatzfahrzeug war ein m.M.n. deutlich schlechteres Modell. Das Auto stand bereits sichtbar auf dem Parkplatz. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Lösung. 2h warten umsonst. ❌ Bei der Rückgabe: kein Mitarbeiter vor Ort. Wir mussten wieder ins Büro zurücklaufen. Fazit: Unprofessionell, intransparent und kundenunfreundlich. Nie wieder! Absolute Warnung.

When travelling, you never know how serious your local car rental company will be. Will you be tricked? Will they try to invent damages? How easy and convenient is the pickup and return process? All good here! Serious and nice people, rather smooth process. My „Audi Q3 or similar“ category (you know how this can turn out sometimes) was a Mercedes so all good as well. Totally trustworthy. I can totally recommand this company based on my personal experience. Thank you!

Avoid Avant at all costs! We had a terrible experience with this scammy rental company. We were lured in by a lower price - but would have been much better off paying more to rent from an actual reputable company. Edit to address the reply from Avant - I did immediately raise the issue that the car was the wrong size and was told it was the only option available. There was no car available to replace with the faulty sensors. I already told them this via email- their response is a bad-faith attempt to save face publicly, ignoring several details I've already shared with them. We booked a Volkswagen Tiguan after a lot of research on cars and their boot sizes to pick a large enough vehicle for four of us plus bags. When we arrived they had a much smaller MG HS and this was the only car available. It was an uncomfortable fit. Shortly after leaving with the car, we realized the front sensors were faulty. Any time the car was in reverse, it would make a continuous tone because of the proximity sensors in the front, even when nothing was there. This would persist until a certain speed was eventually reached - which, trust me, is significantly longer and more annoying than it sounds. When we returned the car we told them and they said "oh that's an issue with these cars" - so they absolutely knew. It's distracting, annoying, and unsafe. Speaking of the return - it took a full thirty minutes for them to inspect the car. We almost missed our flight. We were also charged €950 (!) for the small scratch to the bumper seen in the attached picture. This is an egregiously inflated fee and they said it is due to the location, irrespective of size. This exorbitant fee is obviously not to replace the bumper - there are scratches all over the car. It is just part of a predatory contract. We were also charged a €10 fee "to return the car dirty" - i.e. without a car wash. Such a scummy business practice to nickel and dime only after arriving to pick up the car and not in the price of the online reservation.
