Reserveren was makkelijk, bij aankomst heel uitgebreid verhaal moeten aanhoren over aanschaf van een extra verzekeringsoptie (extra kosten bovenop de reeds aangeschafte afkoop van alle risico's). Dat hebben we niet gedaan. Daarna keurig nette auto ontvangen, en heerlijke vakantie gehad. Retour brengen was ook makkelijk, en omdat het regende kregen we ook nog een lift naar de terminal van de medewerker. Super!

I booked Volkswagen Golf, get similar Škoda Scala. All processes was easy. Girl show me all damages what was before and said make photos. When I bring car back i show pictures to guy, and he said everything okey. Next time only Avantcar

Warning: Avantcar – Bait pricing, hidden charges, and no car in the end! I booked a small car via Booking.com, including insurance, fully prepaid in advance. Everything was handled online. All that should’ve happened at the airport was picking up the keys – instead, it turned into a nightmare. My partner’s credit card, used to pay for the booking, was suddenly rejected . We were told that only if we paid an extra €200 for additional insurance, they’d accept any of his other cards. I then offered to be added as a second driver and cover the €1,400 deposit myself using one of my three valid credit cards – that too was refused, without explanation. Then came the added costs: • €50 flat for island driving, • daily charges for border crossings, • €25 fee if the car wasn’t returned washed – regardless of actual condition. No willingness to help, no manager available, no name of the staff member provided – and this despite a fully paid reservation. We were left without a car at the start of our holiday – exhausted and stunned. And we weren’t alone: other customers around us were dealing with the same tactics. This isn’t a one-off – it’s a pattern: cheap online pricing to get people to the desk, then pressure, upsells, or no car at all. If you want to avoid stress, hidden charges, and losing hours of your trip right at the start, stay far away from Avantcar. As someone who travels globally: I’ve never experienced anything like this.

pratique abusive!!! location via booking, à la récupération du véhicule, il faut laisser une caution! admettons que le fait de laisser une caution soit stipulé sur le bon de réservation MAIS on a "le choix" entre une caution de 1400€ à 5000€ ( en fonction du véhicule ) qui ne coûte rien OU une caution de 200-300€ MAIS QUI VOUS COUTE 140€ ( prix variable en fonction du nombre de jours de location. DONC, à moins de pouvoir laisser une caution de plusieurs milliers d'euros, il faut PAYER la caution

Stay away from these guys, charging 600 euro for scuffs underneath the car! : Upon receiving the car we went around the car with the young lady who handed us the keys and checked everything. Everything looked normal in all the usual wear and tear area of the car. (Doors bumpers wheels etc, no damage anywhere) Their own inspector didn’t look under the car, so neither did I. I don’t know how that would be recorded in the report in the first place if their own inspector didn’t check under the car either. She never bent down!…. And as a customer coming off a long flight I didn’t expect to have to get on my back in the airport parking lot and inspect the undercarriage of the car. I travel quite a lot and I’ve never had such an experience with a rental agency of having to go underneath the car and look for scuffs under the front bumper. Seems like this is a racket just to bang their customers with an additional ~600 euro… and I now see many of the same complaints on their online reviews. I should have checked the reviews before booking. It’s really a shame. I never had this problem with Sixt or anyone else. I will be sure to tell everyone to never use Avant Car!!! Enjoy your 600 euro and predatory business practice. Keep it up and your business will suffer I promise

Comme de nombreux autres avis nous avons été obligé de souscrire à une assurance. D'autres agences de location de voiture acceptent les cartes de débit mais pas eux. Cette pratique dure depuis longtemps apparemment... Pour répondre à l’agence de location. Certes il est mentionné qu'il faut une carte de crédit, mais la plupart des français pensent en avoir une. Il est indiqué en tout petit sur la carte bleu débit. Les gens devant nous et les gens derrière nous se sont aussi fait avoir. Cela dure depuis 4 ans il devrait être indiqué en gros et gras dans les conditions vérifiez bien d'être en possession d'une carte de crédit et non de débit.

Voiture presque neuve, avec apple car play. Ce qui est excellent pour ce genre de location! Le pickup and retour tres facile, il n’y a pas eu d’attente malgré un voyage pendant la deuxième moitié de Juillet Personnels tres sympa et qui donne des bon conseils des destinations à visiter

I do not recommend “Avant car” to anyone for car rental!!! I rented a car through Booking. I chose “Avant car” because this rental company had a high rating and a good rental price. I had an evening flight, and when I came to the rental desk, it was already dark outside. At the company's rental desk, an employee tried to convince me to buy additional insurance with full coverage for €200, but I refused, since I already had such insurance. Then everything went pretty quickly, since I had pre-registered online. I was sent to the end of the parking lot where some of the parking spaces were occupied by their cars. There I was met by another employee of the company who showed me the car and gave me the keys and documents for it, and also said that I could record the existing damage to the car and take a photo of them to prove that this damage was not mine. In the documents, this car already had 26 damages recorded, including scratches on the lower edge of the front bumper, and there were also various small scratches all over the car, but there were also several scratches that were visible even in the twilight. The employee told me that most often, renters scratch the lower edge of the front bumper during operation, parking close to the curb. I took pictures of all the damage that could be felt or seen in the twilight, but I did not feel the scratches on the lower edge of the bumper with my finger and did not bend over and try to take a photo from underneath the car. After receiving the car, I was unable to leave the parking lot because the barrier did not open and I had to go to the rental company counter with this problem and renew the parking ticket. At the end of the rental, when returning the car, I had to wait a little while the employee finished accepting the car from the previous client, who, as I understood, was dissatisfied with the picky and unfounded claims of the employee. When it was my turn, the employee examined the car for quite a long time and thoroughly and compared the list of damages (indexed them), which I had not encountered before in any of the many rental companies that I had used before (usually it takes 5-10 minutes to return the car). At the end of the inspection, she told me that she had found new scratches on the lower edge of the front bumper and that I needed to provide her with a photo of these scratches made by me when I received the car. I tried to explain to her that I did not cause this damage and that when I received the car they were most likely already there, but since it was dark and I did not feel this damage tactilely by running my finger along the edge of the bumper, I did not take a photo of the front bumper from below. Then we went to the office where another employee registered this damage as caused by me, telling me that since I do not have a photo of this damage, it means I have no evidence, but I can express my disagreement in writing in the protocol. In the end, two scratches on the bottom of the front bumper cost me 880€, which they blocked in addition to the deposit of 1400€, which was returned after three days. I got the overall impression of “Avant car” as a dishonest company that uses dishonest methods for its own profit, passing off existing damage to cars as new. Be careful and avoid this rental company if possible. Below I attach a photo, this is the price list of damages in effect at this rental company.

don't use them. They are inflexible and will try and charge you €360 euros for insurance you dont need. do yourself a favour and read the other negative reviews.

Fin bil men havde bestilt med fuld forsikring og da vi skulle hente var det ikke en fuld forsikring. Så jeg skulle betale 10€ for rengøring og det samme som lejen i forsikring. Udfordringer er at der ikke er mulighed for at gøre andet end at købe den dyre forsikring som keg allerede følte jeg havde købt
