Welcome to Black Pearl Diving School, where we provide unforgettable diving courses and adventures in the stunning waters surrounding Hvar. Our diving operations are based in two prime locations: Jelsa and Vrboska.
Expert Instructors and Quality Equipment
At Black Pearl, safety is our priority. Our team consists of four skilled diving instructors and four experienced dive masters dedicated to ensuring your safety throughout your diving experience. Equipped with modern diving gear of the highest quality, we guarantee a seamless diving adventure.
Boating Facilities
We operate two boats, both up to 8 meters long, which can accommodate up to 10 divers per session. This provides a personal and intimate diving experience while exploring the underwater beauty of the region.
Diving Season
The diving season at our Jelsa center runs from May 1st to October 1st. During the off-season, we offer flexible diving arrangements tailored to client interest, ensuring that you can dive whenever you wish.

Fantastic diving experience and very helpful and friendly diving crew and owner. Me and my best friend came here on vacation to get our open water licence, and thanks to the owner Nebo being very flexible we managed to do it in the 3 days we were here. Our dive instructor was Sarah who was very patient and a great teacher both above water and below. We felt very safe and well informed all the time, and definitely recommend coming here for diving. The dive center is also located right next to a hotel, so it's very practical to stay there and dive at the same time. The waters were super clear and it was a great place to begin our diving adventures.

So I just got my diving certification! We were on a bit of a tight schedule cause we only had three days and I was quite worried reading comments on some diving centers but I feel blessed that we decided to go with Black Pearl. The whole experience turned out to be great. Three days is a bit short and if I could, I'd go with four days but that was our decision. The whole staff was uber helpful and super professional. The owner was goofy and relaxed but behind his fun fasade you could sense years of experience and skill. Our instructors name was Sarah and she was a godsent straight from heaven for us. Stern and professional yet compassionate and kind, unrelenting in her teachings yet patient and understanding to the level of a Buddhist monk. I highly recommend Sarah as an instructor and black pearl for anyone who wants to learn diving safely and have a great time whilst doing so. Thank you Sarah, Mr. Nebo and the whole gang.

Veldig bra med personlig oppfølging og mye kunnskap fra alle instruktørene. Følte oss trygge og ivaretatt, samtidig som det var avslappet stemning med god humor. Vi tok OWD-lisens og fikk dykke på fantastisk flotte steder. Så blant annet gamle krukker, mange forskjellige fisker og blekksprut. Nebo var en svært god lærer og lærte oss det vi trengte på en god og effektiv måte. Var mye praktisk trening og lite teori, noe vi lærte veldig mye av.

Od prve do zadnje minute sve je bilo besprijekorno organizirano, s izvanrednom pažnjom prema svakom detalju. Ono što Black Pearl izdvaja nije samo vrhunska oprema, atraktivne ronilačke lokacije ili sigurnost na najvišoj razini – već nevjerojatna energija i profesionalizam vlasnika Nebojše. Nebojša je srce i duša ovog centra. Njegova smirenost, znanje i pristup svakom roniocu ponaosob – bilo da ste početnik ili iskusni tehnički ronilac – stvaraju osjećaj potpune sigurnosti i povjerenja. Uspješno je vodio cijelu našu grupu kroz više zarona, bez ikakvog stresa ili kašnjenja, uz osmijeh i sjajan humor. Svi članovi kluba osjećali su se dobrodošlo, poštovano i oduševljeno, a iskustvo koje smo doživjeli ostat će nam svima u trajnom sjećanju. All recommendations for the Black Pearl Diving Center on Hvar! I would especially like to highlight Nebojša, who was extremely professional and did everything to meet our requests and take us to some fantastic diving spots. The center is fully equipped with diving gear, and they have both a boat and a speedboat, which allows for organizing dives for two groups at the same time. It's located right on the beach, but thanks to the nearby parking, it’s easily accessible even for those arriving by car. There's also a designated area for washing and drying equipment. Sincere recommendations, and once again, a big thank you to Nebojša! See you next year! 🌊🤿

Nebojša is an exceptional dive guide, skipper and a great dude overall. Price is affordable and all gear is in order. The boats have plenty space and dive sites are well suited for all diver certifications beginner to expert. Highly recommend this dive center.

Safe, friendly, professional and accommodating dive centre. Owner is both a guide and instructor, which for me always means it's a quality place. Equipment in order. Only thing I would consider is that transport from Hvar can be a hassle outside of season, so you need a means of private transportation if you're not staying near Vrboska. Taxi was quoted around 60EUR one-way, bus is 5.5EUR, but check time table at the bus stop, not online.

Jedno od boljih iskustava ronjenja, a posebno jer je i Nebojša super miran lik koji polako usmjerava a ne nameće se i pušta da samostalno iskusite ronjenje - samo usmjerava gdje i kada treba. 40 minuta ljepote i mirnoće u prelijepom i netaknutom dijelu ostrva.
