Tiha in Cavtat offered a gorgeous seaside setting with fantastic Dalmatian cuisine. The birthday girls were all smiles when the chef surprised them, adding a truly special touch to the evening. A huge shoutout to Tina for her excellent service. She was kind, attentive, and brought genuine charm to the table, even taking photos of us all. If you're after flavor, hospitality, and a sprinkle of magic, Tiha delivers beautifully.

Lovely location and comfortable seating on one of the nicest parts of the harbour. Earl Grey loose leaf tea was great. Eggs Benedict (minus salmon for me) featured well poached eggs, decent hollandaise with fresh tomatoes and arugula. Unfortunately the English muffin was hard as a rock while being untoasted. This tells me it was stale. Waiter did not ask about food despite me leaving it uneaten. I would expect more for the price and reputation of the hotel.

Edit: Upgrading to 5 stars, we decided to give them another chance after some disappointing service the first time and they delivered the second time around! Amazing service & dinner this time around. I’m willing to write off the service the first time as a fluke (that’s how good the second time was!). We had the two fish dishes and they were perfectly cook and had nice presentation. Reasonably priced as well! Old review (for context). We had high hopes, but service from the waitress was disappointing(and we live in Germany so we’re pretty used to European service). We asked three times if it was possible (because we wanted to make sure it wasn’t misunderstood) to still get fries for my pregnant wife before the kitchen closed and she nodded each time we said it. 30 minutes go by and we ask about the fries and she basically just said no and laughed. I’m guess it’s probably a lost in translation issue, but it came off as very rude. Very disappointed as a guest of the hotel. On the plus side, the drinks were great!

Amazing experience. The location and interior both stunning. Real attention to detail and very friendly, caring staff. The place has a feeling of a fine dining even that the prices are on par or even lower than many restaurants around, which do not serve food at this level. I had a John Dory and it was cooked to perfection, sauce packed full of flavour. But the real star of the show and a very pleasant surprise was their bread basket! Homemade focaccia and beautifully flavoured butter. Amazing. I usually don't touch the bread basket.. I ate all that they had given me and fantasised of eating more .. 100% recommend.

En este pintoresco pueblo costero del Adriatico llamado "Cavtat", en el sur de Croacia a tan solo 20 Km de Dubrovnik. Se encuentra el "Hotel 🏨 Cavtat" , en su terraza descansa junto al agua este resturante &bar ideal para disfrutar comida y cócteles🍸, con vistas espectaculares. En esta oportunidad me sente por al tarde y tome un trago que estaba muy bien. No pude valorar su gastronomía. Su servicio de AA&BB es muy amable y correcto y su ambiente de terraza lounge costera es excelente y muy agradable.

Quick trip to Cavtat brought us to Hotel Cavtat and this lovely waterfront restaurant and bar. Menu ranges from several seafood dishes, variety of meat plates, couple of vegetarian options plus lighter bites. We had the swordfish platter for two which included langoustines, two whole calamari, mussels and garlic potatoes and seaweed/spinach. Then a blackcurrant rose mousse dessert. Prices were very reasonable indeed. Service was gentle and informative. Utterly wonderful two hours spent next to the bay with small boats anchored and the sun setting behind the mountains in the distance. Just wow

Perfect place to kill some time while waiting for a flight if you have to check out of your accommodation. Spent a few hours here for lunch. Prawn pasta was AMAZING. The only place in Croatia I found with a kids menu. View is stunning. Very chill and relaxed, with a cool breeze for the summer midday heat. Much better option than hanging out in Dubrovnik old town and only 5 min to the airport.

Le Tiha est un endroit assez incroyable en bord de mer dans Cavtat. L'établissement a beaucoup d'élégance avec une décoration soignée. On a bien mangé. La burata à la pêche était vraiment excellente. L'espadon était également bien cuisiné. En revanche, le dessert n'était pas au même niveau que le reste. On a passé un excellent moment car c'est un lieu magique où l'on admire le coucher de soleil sur la mer dans un cadre vraiment exceptionnel hors du temps. Le personnel est très accueillant et contribue à rendre ce lieu très agréable. C'est vraiment un restaurant à ne pas manquer lorsque l'on séjourne à Cavtat.

Waited 40 minutes for service to then be told that as they had 'moved the coffee machine' they couldn't serve warm milk in a coffee. The choice of beer was also not available as they hadn't 'chilled' any!

We had an incredible dining experience at Tiha Restaurant in Cavtat! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming—especially thanks to our lovely waitress Tina, who was attentive, friendly, and gave us great recommendations. The highlight of our meal was definitely the fresh fish—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly very fresh. Highly recommend this gem by the sea. We’ll definitely be back!
