Great experience. Would recommend a reservation! The food is very affordable and served quickly. Service is great and the food is tasty. Fresh bread and butter is served automatically too, which is always welcome.

Whilst in Ljubljana, a local friend arranged a traditional Slovenian dinner here. Make sure you go with an appetite! Friendly service and electric vibe, make sure you make a booking. The food was delicious and I don’t think I’ve ingested so much garlic in a single meal before. It was great and was absolutely filled to the brim after. Hvala!

Maybe in my top 10 best meals of my life. It was so good we went twice during our short stay in Ljubljana. The veal and root vegetable dumplings, as well as the sausage were memorable. Loved the goulash soup and the goat cheese rolls. Get a union Beer and your meal will be perfect. Lots of seating space.

This was the restaurant highly recommended by my hotel, unfortunately, it was half happy. I went there around 2pm, but still crowded. I saw they turn downed two tables. The employees were nice to me, first allowed me to sit on the bar, then later she offered me a table next to the window. I ordered goulash and veal liver. The goulash was totally disappointed, especially it says on the menu this is something especial. The meat was dry, and the soup was not taste. Anyway, I was very happy about the veal liver, unfortunately I couldn’t finish it, but highly recommend. It was very tender and juices So, I said half satisfied. But I would recommend it as well since they have many stuffs. Worth to try it!

Visited in late September after reading the Google reviews. At first, we thought it may be closed because of the construction outside. So glad we didn't turn back because once inside, there is no sign or disturbance from the renovations going on outside. The service is fine albeit a little slow, so don't come here if you are in a hurry. If you are thinking of a slow relaxing meal and meal to chat with friends, this is the place for you. Good, tasty and hearty Slovenian food, which is not overly salted and which includes free bread. We had goulash and chicken with polenta. Both were delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert. Best of all, the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in town. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to try regional food at an affordable price in central Ljubljana!

A nice play in the city center, with really nice offer of food. We had kranjske sausages, and beef checks. Sausages were not so good (we did not eat them in any other place, so we are not sure if we just dont like the taste :)), but the beef cheeks were really nice, and the bread also really tasty. Overall, I reccomend it.
