Vrlo zanimljiv autohtoni ambijent u srcu Brača u malom selu. Izvrsna peka od janjetine i teletine. Izvrstan pršut i vino. Gazda nam je pokazao konobu koja je prekrasna. Cijena prihvatljiva. Za svaku preporuku.

Le mie aspettative erano molto alte, purtroppo sono state deluse: atmosfera molto bella, cibo nella norma ma prezzo spropositato. Abbiamo pagato 145€ in due per un'orata, 6 scampi, 4 piccoli calamari (nemmeno puliti), un tagliere di formaggi (probabilmente tagliato qualche ora prima), olive, una patata al forno, mezzo litro di vino e una fetta di torta. In tutti gli altri ristoranti in Croazia ho pagato la metà per la stessa qualità e servizio. Per questo prezzo mi sarei aspettato una cucina più raffinata e un servizio più attento (avremmo voluto mangiare la peka, anche se solo in 2 persone, ma al telefono ci è stato sconsigliato più volte perché troppo complicato per due persone). Peccato, perché il locale sarebbe molto bello e suggestivo!

Vrhunski, autentični ambijent konobe koja se nalazi u 800 godina staroj kući prepunoj artefakata prošlostii samim time predstavlja kulturološko blago toga kraja. Ljubazno i susretljivo osoblje, a hrana izvanredna! Sve vlastiti proizvodi vrhunski pripremljeni!

SO EINE ENTTÄUSCHUNG HABE ICH SELTEN ERLEBT! Dies ist tatsächlich die erste Rezension, die ich jemals auf Google schreibe – und das nur, weil mich diese Erfahrung bis heute beschäftigt. Sie ist vor drei Jahre passiert, aber angesichts der vielen Tourist*innen, die ihren Urlaub in Kroatien verbringen, möchte ich diese Geschichte unbedingt teilen. Ich war mit meinem Partner und Freunden auf der Insel Brač. Da ich selbst Kroatin bin war es mir ein großes Anliegen, dass meine Freund*innen aus Österreich das traditionelle Gericht Peka (in unserem Fall mit Oktopus) probieren. Wir sind im Internet auf das Konoba Tomic ausmerksam geworden. Am späten Nachmittag sind wir dorthin gefahren, um einen Tisch zu reservieren und eine Peka für vier Personen vorzubestellen.Das Lokal war zu dieser Zeit noch geschlossen, aber der Außenbereich war zugänglich. Nach mehrmaligem Rufen kam ein älterer Herr mit dem zahnstocher im Mund und dem weißen Top heraus. Ohne Begrüßung oder freundliche Worte schaute er mich langsam von unten nach oben – ein unangenehmer Moment, der mich sehr irritiert hat. Ich erklärte ihm unser Anliegen, woraufhin er kurz zu Tür ging, um zu schauen welches Auto wir fahren? Diese Aktion empfand ich als absolut unpassend und persönlich wertend. Nach seiner Frage, viewiel Kg Oktopus wir bestellen wollen, schlug ich vor etwa 1–1,5 kg zu bestellen (inklusive Vorspeise und Nachspeise), was abgelehnt wurde. Er meinte, das sei viel zu wenig und bestand darauf, dass wir 4 kg bestellen müssen, sonst würde er uns das Gericht nicht zubereiten. Ich erklärte höflich, dass ich aus Erfahrung weiß, dass kleinere Mengen für kleinere Gruppen völlig ausreichen sind und ich diese auf anderen Inseln auch so bestellt habe. Daraufhin stellte er meine Glaubwürdigkeit in Frage – eine Reaktion, die mich sprachlos machte.Wir einigten uns trotz allem auf 2 kg, da wir nur noch drei Tage auf der Insel waren. Nach kurzer Zeit kam er zurück und erklärte in sehr unfreundlichem Ton, dass er es sich anders überlegt habe – es gebe erst in fünf Tagen einen Termin, und wir müssten doch 4 kg nehmen, wenn wir dort essen wollen.Dieses Verhalten war für mich das Gegenteil von Gastfreundschaft und ich hatte das Gefühl, aufgrund äußerer Merkmale beurteilt worden zu sein. Es war weder ein professioneller noch ein respektvoller Umgang. Ich würde dieses Lokal keinem Mensch weiterempfehlen.

Last September during our honeymoon we bought a bottle of olive oil from this place from young lady Zvonimira. We opened the bottle a few days ago and it's absolutely delicious!:)

Great traditional Croatian food. It's definitely an experience to eat in a 800 year old restaurant. The homemade sausages were fantastic. The host was very welcoming and even gave us a tour of the cellar where they store meat, and make cheese, olive oil, brandy, and wine.
