Truly one of the best meals we had during our stay on the island. Tucked away off the beaten path, Konoba Mendula offers not just incredible food, but a peaceful and authentic dining experience that feels like a well-kept local secret. The menu features fresh, flavorful dishes made with high-quality ingredients – everything we tried was outstanding. From the appetizers to the mains, you can tell the kitchen takes great pride in what they serve. A special shoutout to Antonio, who provided amazing service from start to finish. Warm, attentive, and knowledgeable – he made the whole experience even more memorable. If you're in Bol, Restaurant Mendula is an absolute must. Worth the walk and then some. Don’t miss this gem!

Wow, our family is so happy we found this local gem! The service was exceptional and the food was absolutely some of the best we had have had our entire trip in Croatia… And at a great price. We typically never eat at the same place twice ….but this is the exception. we are definitely going back tonight for more local whole fish. There is a beautiful view overlooking the water from a top perch and it was just such a quaint family experience that we can’t resist going back for more… Oh yeah and the $9 half liter of wine. 🍷

Jídlo výborné, chodili jsme každý večer. Ceny výrazně nižší oproti okolním restauracím. A v ceně příloha plus salát. Pivo za 4 E a všude od 5 až 7 E. Obsluha na úrovni. Restaurace je sice mimo centrum, ale ten pohled stojí za to. Vřele doporučuji.

Waren gestern hier Essen. Thunfischsteak mit Pommes und Salat mit Käse. Das Steak war besonders zart, absolut perfekt. Mein Salat hatte ein leckeres Dressing. (leider keine Bilder gemacht). Zur Hauptspeise gibt es noch einen kleinen Teller mit Gurken, Salat und Tomate dazu. Unser Kellner war sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Nach dem Essen gab es noch einen Likör aufs Haus. Fazit: Wer mal in Ruhe gut Essen gehen möchte ist hier richtig. Abseits des Trubels der Stadt.
