Update to my previous review below: As good or better than before. Simply fantastic. Easy to reach by ferry from Split. My review from a previous year: "Wonderful. I've been to a number of good restaurants in Croatia, including the one Michelin star Noel, but from those, for me, "Kala" is second only to "Nav". Definitely the best on Brac and near Split. Perfect ambiance, creative and refined food, excellent service. Go for the tasting menu, and if you get the 5 courses one, choose the fish option. The wine paring was also very good, and the gluten-free substitutes for my daughter were excellent. Respect for the chef Dino Separovic. Will go again."

Jedno od najboljih gastronomskih iskustava na Braču! Ambijent je predivan, spoj otočkog šarma i profinjene elegancije, savršen za romantičnu večeru ili posebnu priliku. Ono što me potpuno oduševilo je hobotnica, vjerovatno najbolje jelo koje sam ikad probao. Savršeno mekana, s dubokim, dimljenim okusima, uz morski komorač i fermentirani češnjak. Nevjerojatna kombinacija okusa koja se pamti. Degustacijski meni je pažljivo osmišljen, a vinska pratnja vrhunska. Usluga je besprijekorna i topla. Ako ste u Supetru, Kala je nezaobilazna destinacija!

A culinary dream at Kala ,Supetar Dining at Kala, a Michelin gem in Brač, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated, the interior is breathtaking, effortlessly combining island charm with modern elegance. Every detail, from the ambient lighting to the curated decor, felt thoughtfully considered and world class. We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was a decision we’ll remember forever. Each course was a masterclass by Chef Dino, perfectly balanced, deeply flavourful, and immaculately presented. The wine pairings were exceptional. Every glass, carefully selected, often local, some rare, told its own story and complemented each dish beautifully. The sommelier, Mia, was both knowledgeable and warm, bringing passion and deep knowledge to the experience. This wasn’t just dinner, it was an unforgettable culinary journey and, honestly, one of the best meals we’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Brač and want something truly special, don’t think twice. It was so amazing it is difficult to highlight one thing! First- amazing creativity with traditional Dalmatian ingredients in every meal, and with food you get to combine superb wines from Croatia. They are great hosts, service was amazing from the beginning till the end of the courses, they show true dedication. All that combined with beautiful location, cozy music... it just left me with wholesome satisfaction and a need to come back again.

It's amazing experience, must visit! It can't be described with words and picture's! Staff is very gentle and nice, place is absolutely clean and nicely decorated with comfortable table. You will feel like a king or first lady 😄 It's easy to come from Split, almost 5 minutes walk from ferryboat you need to across street. All recommendations!!!

Wir waren zum 2ten Mal in der Konoba Kala und es war durch das neue Ambiente und einige Aufmerksamkeiten noch besser als beim ersten Mal. Der Preis für diese Qualität und Vielfalt der (hauptsächlich regionalen) Produkte und den Top-Service ist mehr als gerechtfertigt und im Vergleich zu europäischen Standards nicht übertrieben. Es ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch Wert und bitte grüßt recht herzlich das Team und die Betreiberin/Sommeliere Mia. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Kala offers by far the best food experience on the Croatian island of Brac. We walked in for lunch on Friday and opted for the 4 course menu. The fish and lamb tasted fantastic and my wife could die for the pre-dessert, some white chocolate ball with grapefruit sorbet coating and lemon filling. The visual presentation of the food and the service was extremely well done. The restaurant still needs some final finishing touches but young chef Dino and his wife are definitely on the right track to become a destination restaurant. It is also easily reached from Split. Just hop on the ferry to Supetar and on arrival walk 500 metres to Kala.
