Nice hosts, nice place, very tasty food! I've been here on conference dinner with around 150 people. Everything during evening was very well organized. During tour of estate we where divided in 5 groups so it was not very crowded. We where seated outside so we had enough space and we could enjoy sunset. We had buffet table with variety of local dishes and everything was tasty. All in all, very pleasant experience and I can defiantly recommend this place.

Wir waren total begeistert. Es war tagsüber schon die Führung und von der ganzen Anlage begeistert. Am Abend sind wir dann nochmals hingefahren und haben ein super tolles Essen gehabt. Die einzigartige Sternenkunde vom Chef mit der super Erklärung dazu. Einfach genial. Zu den Produkten möchte ich noch sagen, dass die einfach anzuwenden sind und helfen unheimlich gut. Die Akne unser Tochter sind verschwunden und die Creme für Neurodermitis wirkt schnell und die kleine ist begeistert.

Histria Aromatica is a hidden gem with breathtaking views of the sea, making it a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Whether you’re on the terrace or in the restaurant, you’re surrounded by nature, with fragrant herbs and plants creating a unique, relaxing atmosphere. During my visit, I enjoyed an aperitivo and a coffee. The service was excellent—warm, welcoming, and attentive. The area invites exploration, with highlights like a historic fig tree growing inside a cave, which adds a touch of local history to your visit. The on-site shop is fantastic, offering a wide variety of natural products, including candles, beauty products, and essential oils. I appreciated being able to try everything before making a purchase, and the staff provided detailed explanations about each product. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by—whether for a peaceful walk in nature, to savor the views with some food and drinks, or to pick up some wonderful aromatic products.

Tolles Anwesen mit atemberaubendem Blick auf Rovinj und die Adria. Nicht umsonst wird das Gut auch als Kulisse für Werbe- und Fernsehproduktionen genutzt. Sowohl mit dem Auto als auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Es gibt einen kleines Geschäft, in dem man die Erzeugnisse von Aromatica erwerben kann. Das Restaurant lädt zum Verweilen und Genießen der Aussicht bei einer Kleinigkeit zu essen oder einer Tasse Kaffee ein. Danke an Nikolina, Mate und Mitarbeiter!

This location is beyond beautiful! If you want to see beautiful nature, plants and herbs and a spectacular ocean view above Rovinj - this is a must see in Croatia. Besides beautiful walkways you’ll find a lovely shop and a fantastic restaurant. The shop offers a variety of natural products such as candles, oils, soaps and beauty products. We received an explanation of all of them and were able to test the products. The owners are very welcoming and offer explanations in different languages. After exploring the area you can enjoy homemade food and drinks or coffee while enjoying the sunset on the great terrace. The stuff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely afternoon at Histria Aromatica and will definitely come back!

Sa hranom koja plijeni dušu i tijelo te sa ljubaznnom upraviteljicom Nikolinom koja nam je priredila nezaboravnu priču kroz zvjezdano nebo kuda nas je spektakularno vodio njezin suprug Profesor kvantnih nauka✨ divni,nasmijani i srdačni domaćini ..iskreni i otvoreni i vrijedni kao i smokva iznikla iz špilje i sa svojih 120 godina daje ploda i svakoga od nas potakne da ih se sve za zahvalom pogleda. Very unpleasant experience! We just returned after an unpleasant visit of Istria Aromatica, with a forced excursion although we were wet after 20 minute walk in a pouring rain, and mostly with a restaurant visit, with a brouscetta on a toast (!) with cucumber (!), you can imagine how dry and unpleasant it was.

Pictures and Videos cannot capture the charm of this little known gem just outside of Bale. It has a short yet intriguing history that the current owner beautifully tells. This is no surprise considering she has spent most of her life as a movie director, most noticeably as the assistant director for 5 seasons of The Game of Thrones and several Marvel movies. At the entrance there is a 120yr old Fig tree that is growing up out of a cave, it has been perfectly protected and you can even climb down into the cave to see the tree’s origin. We came at the start of September so all of the plants had been harvested. This meant that driving in the area looked barren and we thought we had made a mistake in coming here. However the charm is not the gardens, it’s the people. Understanding the concept of this unique business of one man’s dream to provide a seed to product business is what makes this place worth the visit. Is it finished, a polished gem of a tourist attraction…..no and it will be years before it is. That’s because it barely survived Covid and the new owners, although passionate, have to rebuild a legacy and it is a heavy responsibility that they want to do right. When we visited it was an intensely hot day, with a storm on the horizon sucking all the cool air from the Adriatic Sea across our hilltop, we sat under the shade of the trees, sipping house made iced tea that has been made from the aromatics grown on the grounds. The staff were serving the table behind us and the waitress broke into the most beautiful singing. It’s a truly magical experience that you can’t capture in words. If you are in the Istria region this is a great place to visit to relax under the trees, have a drink and some delicious food. It’s a pleasant stop between bigger more general tourist destinations in Croatia.

We spent a wonderful day at this property. Nikolina, her sister and other staff did everything to make us feel at home. The food is excellent, all local, homemade food and domestic herbs and spices. We enjoyed the tour of nature and the store of their local products, also had the chance to have fun taking pictures in flying dresses, which was a super fun experience. They do a great job and that's why you have to come visit this property. Thank you very much for everything and we will come again.

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp und ein Muss für alle, die Ruhe und Natur lieben! Einfach ein magischer Ort mit wunderschönem Ausblick! Der Park rund um das Haus ist traumhaft, ich muss unbedingt nochmal wiederkommen, wenn der Lavendel noch blüht. Das wunderschöne Haus, wo sich der Laden und das Restaurant befinden, fügt sich perfekt in die Landschaft ein und sieht einfach nur schön und sehr besonders aus! Der Gastgeber des Hauses hat uns so freundlich empfangen und uns eine Führung gegeben und uns sehr viel über die Geschichte des Parks, die Pflanzen und das Gebäude erzählt! Ich würde diese Führung sofort buchen, er macht das so toll, aber er hat uns einfach so rumgeführt und uns alles gezeigt! Auch im Laden hat er sich soviel Zeit genommen und uns die Cremes und Essenzen gezeigt und erklärt! Absolut wunderschöner Laden mit tollen Produkten! Es gibt Seifen, Aromaöle, Cremes, Balsam, Badesalze usw.! Wir haben von der Chefin einen wunderschönen Tisch gedeckt bekommen und die Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft sucht wirklich seinesgleichen! Wir waren mit unserem Hund da und er wurde so freundlich und offen empfangen und mit frischem Wasser versorgt! Es war, als wären wir bei Freunden eingeladen! Das Essen war hervorragend, istrisches Hühnchen, dalmatisches Kalb, vegane Spagetti mit frischen Kräutern. Als Nachtisch warmen Pflaumenkuchen. Das Highlight war die abendliche Sternenkunde vom Chef persönlich, alles wurde abgedunkelt und zum Glück haben sich die Wolken etwas verzogen und wir konnten viel über die Sterne lernen! Ein wunderbares Erlebnis, das ich jedem nur ans Herz legen kann! Besucht diese wunderbaren Menschen an diesem einzigartigen Ort! Es ist einfach nur magisch!

I was absolutely in love with this place. Starting with the aesthetically pleasing location to watch the sunset and enjoying the calm. The food was amazing, selfmade and special by an inspiring woman. Ending the evening with stargazing. Her partner was explaining and showing us the stars and we could also see the saturn through the telescope. The love and peace that was up in this place was incredible. Hope to see you soon.
