Die Gostlina Sokol ist ein Restaurant direkt in der Altstadt von Ljubljana etwas schräg gegenüber der Kathedrale. Die Kellner tragen alle eine traditionelle Uniform und sind trotz extrem hohem Gästeaufkommen freundlich und schnell. Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl an deftigen Gerichten, von der Suppe im Brottopf über Bratwürsten, bis hin zum Wildteller mit Wildschweinfleisch. Alle Gerichte haben gut geschmeckt und waren für einen solchen Hochfrequenzbetrieb auch von guter Qualität. Ohne Convenience Produkte und halbindustrieller Vorproduktion kommt ein solches Restaurant natürlich nicht aus. Das Restaurant ist im mittelalterlichen Stil romantisch eingerichtet. Die Speisen werden alle sehr ansprechend dekoriert serviert und liegen Preislich zwischen 14€ für den Gulascheintopf im Brottopf und 28€ für den Wildteller. Alles in allem empfehlenswert für ein deftiges Abendessen mit leckerem Dessert.

A beautiful place in the country side of Trieste that opens only for 11 days after the month last Thursday. Their food it's made with their own products. I have to say that the food was delicious. At the end I have eaten a lot more than what I usually do. Definitely a place to come back again!!!!

I had a delicious mushroom soup in a bread bowl! It was my first bread bowl but I was very happy. The staff were very friendly especially to a clueless tourist such as myself. I recommend to everyone.

I had excellent Gulash served in the bread and the Apple Strudel with the vanilla was delicious. Additionaly the waiter was very friendly and we got our food without waiting too long altough it was very busy. I really recommend this restaurant if you want to try the local cuisine.

Habíamos visto comentarios positivos aquí y hemos ido. Después de la falta de amabilidad del camarero y esperar 15 minutos, no nos han preguntado ni qué queríamos beber. Evidentemente nos hemos levantado e ido a otro sitio muchísimo mejor.
