Came here for Christmas lunch, but make sure you reserve in advance. Started with a mix of Slovenian cheeses and the cauliflower soup. Both delicious. The mains were also amazing. We tried the veal & goose and the saffron risotto with sea bream. The risotto was outstanding and the sea bream was cooked perfectly. Ended with the apple tart and white chocolate mousse. These were unfortunately a bit of a let down. The accompanying parsnip icecream and butternut squash icecream respectively did not make it for my personal taste. Overall, great experience in a nice setting.

Plethora of finest local dishes, many with a unique touch, combined with a premium slovenian vines makes this restaurant a perfect place for every food connoisseur. Prices are quite moderate for such a fine establisment. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience with a tour group from Alaska. First, your enjoying a meal in a castle. The food was exquisite, I had the pork which was unbelievably tender. A wide variety of wines that paired great with the meats and the desserts. When in Ljubljana this is a must do.

Der Service war wirklich top, reagierte auf die berechtigte Kritik einer kalten Hauptspeise hervorragend. Geschmacklich konnte bei mir keiner der Gänge wirklich Punkten. Mir fehlte der Wow-Effekt, eine ausgefallene Geschmackskombination oder irgendwie etwas Charakter im Essen, weshalb ich leider 2 Sterne abziehen muss. Ambiente ist nett und weil das Essen wirklich sehr schön angerichtet war, lege ich nochmals einen Stern wieder drauf.
