Extraordinary meal in a quaint little outdoor patio Konoba (tavern/restauranr). The service was personal and friendly and the food was amazing. Our table had sea bream, gnocchi, tagliatelle and scampi buzara. Hidden (almost literally) gem and it was full!

Das Essen war an sich okay, aber mein Freund hat das Steak mit Käsesauce bestellt und bekam eine Schuhsohle mit viel zu viel Sauce (Foto). Das Ambiente ist ein Traum, die Bedienung ist nett, aber das Steak war so schon und für 26€ erst recht eine absolute Frechheit.

Una experiencia inolvidable en este restaurant que sirve una comida deliciosa. La pasta con trufa es una exquisitez. Tuvimos que repetir. El servicio de Mario fue como menos, amigable, honesto y siempre servicial. Pasó casi 10 veces por la mesa para estar atento de lo que necesitáramos. Dan ganas de regresar a esa terraza bañada por una sombra más que agradecida en el fuerte verano de Split. Los cócteles bien servidos y la rapidez del servicio es inigualable. Si estas en Split, tienes que pasar por este oasis. Gracias Split, gracias Mario, gracias Croacia.

A charming spot in Split. Deep Shadow, located at Senjska 18, offers a unique experience on its beautiful terrace, cool and peaceful under the shade of a large tree — the perfect place to relax. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to Mario, an incredibly kind, helpful, and honest waiter who made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was delicious — I highly recommend the pasta with prosciutto and truffle, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Definitely a place worth returning to! 🌿🍝👏

4.3?!?! Ridiculous! This vibrant, chill, wonderful spot to eat is awesome! First, you eat outside under a beautiful shady tree. The place is packed and the energy is palpable. The wait staff is helpful, engaging, efficient and kind. Totally reasonable. My grilled whole fish (sea bass) was only 22€ and absolutely delicious. The vegetation option (risotto) was solid and the pasta dish we had (Tagliatelle with pancetta) was very flavorful. Squid? Incredible. The best part? Grandma! She hangs back in the kitchen across from the eating space and deals out her dishes with an infectious attitude. If you want to spend more money for way worse food down near Diocletian’s Palace (I’ve done this), go for it, but that’s a huge mistake. Eat here instead!

Easily the best food that I ate whilst in Split. The black risotto is incredibly good. The Gnocchi is almost as good. The spaghetti was good but not quite at the same level as the other two dishes that I tried. It was cheaper than places that sold worse food. The staff were lovely. I would recommend making a reservation especially on weekends

Essen: Sehr leckeres Essen. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte in der Gruppe bestellt und jeder war zufrieden. Für Vegetarier gibt es auch Speisen, nur leider etwas wenig Auswahl. Trotzdem hatten wir etwas gefunden. Vegane Speißen gibt es nur Beilagen, die man sich auch bei den Fleischgerichten dazu bestellt. Preis Leistung: Etwas preiswerter, aber das ist auch der Lage bzw dem Tourispot verschuldet. Trotzdem war es der Qualität entsprechend auch top. Service: Wir hatten einen sehr netten Kellner, der sehr zuvorkommend war. Generell war das Personal sehr sympathisch. Location: Wir saßen draußen mit 11 Personen. Uns wurden Tische zusammengestellt. Es war etwas Eng mit so vielen Leuten, trotzdem war es richtig schön und gemütlich.

Really pretty setting outside with a big tree in the centre for shade. Great waiters. The food was really tasty (seabass and a pasta dish). We arrived about 7pm and managed to get a table straight away, it did start to get busy soon after.

Excellent restaurant in Split, a bit away from the tourist crowds. Mario and the other waiters are friendly and give great recommendations. We went there four times and were always very happy with the food and the overall experience.

This is a hidden gem. The staff were very friendly and made us laugh. Very accommodating. The food was cooked very well and full of flavour. I enjoyed my time here and definitely recommend.

Super freundliche Kellner. Leitungswasser gab es vom Haus. Das Ambiente ist super gemütlich und bequem. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portion hätte für einen etwas größer sein können. Preis Leistung okay.
