One of the only authentic “family” restaurants in Zadar old town! Delicious food as if you would cook it at home yourself or as we say it in Spain “grandmother kitchen” :) If I come back to Zadar, I would come back 100%!

Great service by a very helpful and funny waiter. Found us a table outside and gave excellent food and wine advice. Very buzzy atmosphere and very tasty food, scampi risotto was delicious, tuna carpaccio lovely and carbonara scampi loved by our young son. Recommend if you can get a table.

Very tasty, traditional and affordable lunch options. Typical food you would eat with your family in Croatia, like stuffed peppers, seafood or meat stew, meat or squid with chard, pasta with beans or tomato sauce... Lunch menu changes daily. Great value for money, homemade bread, friendly service and a good mix of tourists and locals.

Nude jela pripremljena od svježih namirnica, iako je i stalni jelovnik vrlo zanimljiv i domaći. Girice sa blitvom bile su svježe i lijepo pržene, nimalo premasne. Blitva s krumpirom bila je točno onakva kakva treba biti – ne samo krumpir s pokojim listom zelenja, već nego ukusan prilog. Tuna je bila fino pečena i sočna, dok su tortelini bili pravo iznenađenje – nježan okus kozica jasno se osjetio, nisu bili prekuhani ni žilavi, a bogat šug i tikvice dali su dubinu i sočnost. Pravo iznenađenje – 10/10! Jedino blago razočaranje bio je tiramisu, kojem je nedostajalo očekivanog okusa kave i svježine. Ipak, uz malo dorade, i ovaj bi desert lako mogao dosegnuti visoki standard ostatka obroka.

An authentic restaurant in the heart of Zadar. They offer dishes you hardly find nowadays fish "trle" and "moli", stuffed peppers, for merenda till 2 p.m. for reasonable price. ..Tasty desserts. We really liked the service, the owner who served us was great.

Preslatka konoba u centru grada. Barba daje autentičnost. Jeli smo marendu, ali porcije su i više nego dovoljno velike. Srdele svježe s mirisom mora uz prilog blitve koja se topi u ustima. Jetrice su isto imale prilog blitvu. Suprug je rekao da jetrica pričaju 1000 jezika.

We were extremely disappointed with the behaviour and comments of the staff and with the food. Firstly, they rolled their eyes when we entered the restaurant. After we sat down and said that we are from the continental part of Croatia (they asked), the waiter had a humiliating comment regarding our knowledge of fish species and dishes. The communication with the waiter was very bad and he didn't pay attention to what we were saying - at all. We wanted to order an appetizer but he didn't even perceive that and when we finally caught his attention he said that it was too late for that because the main dish was already being prepared. Cod with potatoes - mostly a dish made of potatoes and a little bit of cod that was not properly prepared. Fried sand smelts - not fried enough with a lot of seaweed, hence - insufficiently washed. There were no condiment on the table. Not going back for sure.

Excellent food with reasonable prices. However, waiters seem quite unorganized when it comes to serving. It's loud if you sit inside and unfortunately you can hear all comments about guests from the owner-quite unpolitely. We came 2x this summer, once for lunch and once for dinner and both times was the same situation with the service and atmosphere.
