We gingen op basis van de recensies maar we vonden het echt niet zo goed als iedereen schreef. Spotgoedkoop was het niet, we hebben goedkoper gezien. Het eten was oké. Maar niet fantastisch zoals anderen hier schreven. Ik kreeg een vies glas bij het drinken en de wc was vies en het stonk er heel erg. De eigenaar was ook niet echt vriendelijk tegen ons. De locatie is heel leuk bij het plein.

Stara škola. Ako ste u centru grada i želite pojesti dobre ćevape u dobroj lepinji ovo je mjesto za vas. WC nije baš uredan ali oni koji tu dođu ne dođu zbog wc-a nego zbog ćevapa. Ponavljam, ovo nije restoran, ovo je prava ćevabdžinica.

Underwhelming, and definitely not the best grill in Maribor as a previous review that caught my attention stated. Poor ventilation means the food smells hang around inside, the furniture and insides are very dated, and on a very nice day the place doesn't offer seating outside, despite tables being placed there. The toilets are smelly and in dire need of a renovation. Food is just okay, not very tasty, but not bad either, and prices are cheap. However presentation of the food is poor. The server/owner is nice and joked with another couple dining there, however that does little to save the rating for this eatery.

Authentic food served at good prices, cooked and served in an unpretentious setting by the wonderful, kindly owner who has been here since the 70s. The place itself, nor the menu, hasn't been updated for years, but this fact adds to the charm. They serve beers and soft drinks too, and no worries that the owner doesn't*really* speak English (but does speak several Balkan languages) as we were still able to understand each other well :)
