Barabrith is a unique vegan space set in the serene hills of Croatia, offering a cozy retreat for those seeking an all-vegan accommodation experience. Nestled in the Kordun region, this welcoming space is run by Jon and Sanja, who have transformed their countryside property into a sustainable haven for guests.
Our charming wooden house features three rooms, each equipped with a double bed. The larger room, known as Malcolm's room, is aesthetically pleasing with four windows, a vintage rocking chair, and artwork on display. Guests can enjoy shared facilities including a shower room, toilet, and a barbecue area. With a relaxing gazebo overlooking nature, guests are encouraged to explore the surrounding woods and fields.
All guests are invited to partake in vegan meals, which are offered at no additional cost, should you be around during mealtimes. While guests can use the outdoor barbecue facilities, please remember that only vegan food is allowed on site. We also provide plenty of local dining suggestions for vegan and vegetarian options.
Your stay at Barabrith starts at approximately 45 euros per person per night, which includes bedding, a towel, and kitchen access. Discounts are available for longer stays and those who help with our projects.
Located near Plitvice National Park and the charming town of Karlovac, there’s no shortage of outdoor activities to enjoy—whether hiking through the woods, swimming in the nearby river Korana, or visiting local attractions such as the Nikola Tesla Experience Centre. Adventure seekers will appreciate the historical sites and natural beauty surrounding Barabrith.
To secure your stay, please book at least a week in advance. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. For those traveling by train or bus, we can provide pickup services for an additional fee.
