A beautiful park, well-maintained, and home to adorable stray cats, which, of course, are best avoided. Unfortunately, when we were there, the upper section wasn't accessible yet because it needed to be secured against falling branches, trees, and debris after the storm on July 8th 2025. After climbing the stairs (where the summit begins), you can relax in a restaurant with a snack and a drink and enjoy the view, while the crickets in the woods give you a sense of tranquility. Or, after the walk, when you're down again, go to restaurant Fife for some simple vut authentic and delicious food.

The road leading to the observation deck is about a 10-minute walk from the center where the market is located. After climbing about 250 steps, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city of Split. If you are in good health, you can climb it slowly in less than 10 minutes.

This is a must visit when in Split. It’s a kid friendly walk that only took me around 20 minutes to reach the top. Once you reach the vistas you see a beautiful landscape and continue to come across more scenic areas and sitting points to enjoy. There is also a zoo, church, playground, garden, flagpole, and large white cross to explore.
