Overall, the car was good.
But the guys in Albania (Tirana) took the car back and said, everything is ok. But later on, I got billed 330€ because of a small scratch at the wheels, which I didn't notice during my rental... They can do what they like and charge what they like, you can't do something against them. BE CAREFULL!

The rental went well, I got an upgraded car because they hadn't the one I renred. They tried to sell me pretty much overpriced insurance. However, during the rental, it was very difficult to get in touch with the rental company. I called, emailed, and finally called the employee's personal number, but it was still difficult to get through. The matter was eventually resolved. They charged 10€ cleaning fee after the rent.

Otrzymałam brudny samochód przy odbiorze, a przy oddaniu musiałam go umyć, aby uniknąć opłaty 10 euro. W drodze na lotnisko byłam na myjni, a i tak wsiadając do samolotu odczytałam maila z informacją,że moje konto zostaje obciążone kwotą 10 euro. Zapłaciłam podwójnie za mycie samochodu! Nie polecam!

Osoblje je bilo veoma ljubazno. Brzo i jednostavno sve dogovorili. Automobil je bio veći i bolji nego što sam rezervirao, bio doslovno novi i čist, Sve pohvale. S drugim rent a car firmama nažalost nisam bio zadovoljan. Carwitz je za sad najbolji. Hvala Vam

So far, there are some red flags that I am hoping get resolved. If they do, I'll update my review.
Renting the car was easy enough. I got an "upgrade" because they didn't here any economy cars. That was fine, happens a lot. Upon checking the car out there were FIFTEEN noted damage areas on the car as they sent to me via mail with my contract. After they make it a point to tell you any damage incurred is €990, then why isn't this car fixed? They take the money, don't fix anything, and keep renting it out. So.... That's a scam. They'll probably wait till someone takes full coverage, then get the insurance to pay for it while pocketing the money previous driver had to pay.
Second, upon dropping it off, there was some warning on the dash (in Croatian), and the girl asked me "did you do something with the tires?" ???? Probably a low pressure warning. What would I do with tires on a 3 day rental? Just an odd question to ask.
Finally, she told me she'd be closing my account, and I'd get an email with the receipt. It's an hour later, and I haven't received it yet. If I get on my plane only to find out they charged me for some nonsense she didn't mention, then it's a real scam. We'll see.
Update: I never received a bill or invoice, and I was charged a €10 cleaning fee. I was the only one in the car, and I spent maybe an hour total in it. They just charge it cause they can, and they do it after you leave. Shady. Even though it's in the contract, it says "excessive cleaning".....which I understand. But having some pebbles on the floor of the driver's side, with no other dirt anywhere else, is not excessive.

the rental company was extremely picky and charged extra for many things that most companies typically include. For example, they charge a €10 fee if they decide the car is “dirty” upon return, but they don’t provide a clear definition of what qualifies as dirty, which feels arbitrary.
Additionally, the rental did not include any insurance coverage at all, which is unusual—most companies offer at least some basic coverage in the base price.
Another issue was their inconsistent handling of the border-crossing fee. Initially, they quoted €100 for the necessary documentation, then lowered it to €80, and finally to €60. This document is supposed to be formal and presented to border police, so it’s concerning that the price changed so many times with no clear explanation.
Overall, while the car was fine, the company’s practices were not transparent, and the extra charges made the experience feel untrustworthy.

I do not recommend this car hire. At pickup, I was unexpectedly charged a €10 cleaning fee and a €100 cross-border fee — costs that were buried in the fine print. I’ve never encountered a cleaning fee from a car hire before, and the cross-border fee was not only higher than what was listed in the online terms and conditions but also more expensive than similar charges from other car hire companies in the area.
