Amazing public swimming spot. Rent a sup, kajak or just go for a swim. No matter what, you'll have a great time. Water is clear and going a lap or two around the island is a must. Restaurants are nearby offering a variety of food.

Kostanjevica is undoubtedly one of the most charming places in Slovenia and for me personally the most beautiful in Dolenjska. Unfortunately, it is a place that suffers from a lack of any vision, which is why the tourist offer is getting worse year by year. Beautiful nature is something that always enchants a guest, but unfortunately that is also everything. Nevertheless, I highly recommend a visit to Kostanjevica in all seasons. A walk around the island around which the Krka River flows, a visit to the outstanding outdoor sculpture exhibition or simply enjoying the peace and quiet, you can always get that in Kostanjevica.
