Kranjska koča na Ledinah is a mountain hut managed by the Planinsko društvo Kranj located in the stunning surroundings of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The hut offers a perfect retreat for hikers and adventurers, although it is currently undergoing renovations and will remain closed for the entire 2025 season.

Path Conditions

As of August 20, 2025, the following path statuses are noted:

• Slovenska pot and Lovska pot: Fully inspected and cleared.
• Path through Žrelo: CLOSED due to active landslides, posing significant danger.
• Several other routes have also been inspected and remain safe for use.

Facilities

The hut features a main dining area with 50 seats, alongside an outdoor terrace offering breathtaking views. There are also sleeping arrangements with a total of 40 beds in communal areas and 8 in private rooms. Advance group bookings are recommended.

Access and Hiking Routes

The hut can be accessed via two main paths:

• By Lovska pot (1h 30min) - a demanding trail
• By Slovenska pot (1h 20min) - a very demanding trail

Popular hiking tours around the area include various scenic routes to peaks such as Velika Baba and Mrzla gora.
