You don't need to be sent back in time for centuries to track down an authentic cup of coffee. You can simply go for a stroll next to the Ljubljanica, accompanied by the melodic sound of the wind rustling the leaves of the majestic trees proudly lining its banks, and stop at Mala Pražarna. This unpretentious roastery, living up to the pearl of wisdom "less is more," is where you want to be for a fair cupful of caffeinated-bliss. Whether you drink it on the spot, in a cup produced from recycled coffee grounds, or take it to go to continue your stroll next to the river is entirely up to you. Nevertheless, in this quaint roastery, you will be greeted by an authentic, kind & humble soul named Sabin. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of coffee and somehow reminds me of his Royal Highness, Keanu Reeves. Is it his smile, or his humble presence? I still haven't figured that one out. All that remains for you to know is that he roasts his own coffee beans, Cuban if I am not mistaken, on the spot. Hence, your coffee will be as fresh as it possibly can be. Sold at a fair price and served with an air of kindness. You can also buy a pack of locally roasted coffee beans, as a souvenir, and take it home with you. Acquiring yourself an extended holiday that will help you to shake the weight of living, and reminisce about dazzling Ljubljana.

What a great little coffee house. Simple yet stylish decor, friendly owner and exceptional coffee made with love and kindness. Even better that it is out of the busy part of town. Do yourself a favour rent a bike and head to this place for a fine drop of quality coffee.....you will not be disappointed

The place made my day. First of all- quality of coffee. I could descibe the taste for ages but the idea is that it was *made by the owner who loves coffee; * consumed by the person who loves people surrounded her; * served in a cup (as a logo and look at the picture) that was not good for the climate...made my day looking at it:)
