At Rioža, we take pride in our rich heritage of olive cultivation, which has been a part of our family's agricultural tradition for generations. Our journey intensified in the year 2000 when we planted our first significant olive plantation, growing approximately 3 hectares of olive trees (around 800 trees) to bring high-quality olive oil to your table.

Waren unangemeldet gekommen und der Chef hat uns sofort willkommen geheissen und Käse, Tomaten, Brot und Sardinen aufgetischt. Er sprach gut Deutsch und konnte alles erklären. Sehr freundlich, 1 Liter kostete 30.-, 3 Liter 80.- Auch sehr schöne modernen Etiketten. Gerne wieder!

We went on a hunt for some seriously good olive oil. And we knew the competition will be strong, since this is Istria, home of the best olive oil in the World. Having said that, Rioža olive oil blew our minds with its quality and taste! Also, our hosts were very kind even though we interrupted their meal. I couldn’t recommend it more!
