CroatiaSkills – Small Country of Great Skills

Welcome to CroatiaSkills, a national nonprofit organization established in June 2005, dedicated to promoting excellence in knowledge and skills across various professional, commercial, and lifelong learning fields in the Republic of Croatia. Founded by Mr. Davor Dinter, CroatiaSkills has been an active member of the International Abilympic Federation since 2006 and served as a previous member of WorldSkills International and WorldSkills Europe.

Our Mission

CroatiaSkills aims to achieve its goals through skill competitions, youth training programs, and coaching initiatives. We collaborate with various stakeholders who share our objectives of enhancing vocational education and training (VET). Our competitions, which include both local and international events, promote skill excellence and raise awareness of the importance of professional capabilities.

Competitions

We organize national skill competitions every four years, targeting young VET students and professionals aged 16-22, including those with disabilities, without age restrictions. These events serve as a platform to improve the quality and attractiveness of vocational education, foster cooperation between educational institutions and enterprises, and encourage youth in developing their professional and entrepreneurial skills.

International Participation

CroatiaSkills is responsible for selecting and training the Croatian national team for the International Abilympics competition, showcasing the skills of our talented participants on a global stage. We receive strong support from key national institutions, enhancing our ability to champion skill development in Croatia.
