Evita is the best :) They have hosted us and our parents on several occasions. Proximity to the sea is amazing in a very peaceful and small bay, so you have a perfect balance of privacy and social interaction. You can choose either. Not to mention that the bay has a perfect sea temperature, which suits families with small children, crystal clear as well with a small sandy beach. Mljet is a very sparsely populated, so tourism is reserved for apartments and houses which are not that many. The apartments are impeccably clean and the hosts are very nice people, always there to help out. Everything that you might need will be there. As for the downsides, grocery stores are not so close, so it does require some planning, which is not that of an issue. Internet connection in the entire island is rather poor, which is not necessarily a downside, so you can disconnect for a bit.

😊: Perfect stay at Villa Evita! The apartment was cozy and well-equipped – even had a washing machine for doing laundry. Amazing view, total peace and quiet. The island is stunning and definitely worth a visit. The host was lovely and gave great beach tips. Highly recommend!.

😊: Un appartement exceptionnel. Nous étions au second étage, vue sur la baie. Propre, tout était impeccable. Cuisinière, four, vaisselle, 5/5. Tranquille. Un espace de stationnement était disponible. A quelques minutes de marche accès à la mer pour s’y baigner.. 😢: Rien c’était parfait..

😊: We loved the view. What a peaceful wee bay. The flat is great with its 2 bedrooms and the terrace. The host also showed us the spots to visit on the island. Really nice ☺️. 😢: The smell of tobacco. We are non-smokers and we have 3 kids too. Shame that somebody left such a strong smell in the whole flat. We could smell it during the night too (as it was raining we could not leave the windows open)..
