My friend and I embarked on this underground adventure, and we can only describe it as an INCREDIBLE experience! Our lovely young guide made sure the tour was not only filled with fascinating information but also ensured our comfort and safety throughout. Exploring the mine tunnels in kayaks was truly unique, and to top it all off, we were treated to a delicious platter of local organic delicacies right in the middle of the underground! For everything you get during this 4-hour tour, the price is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

We hadden ons laten leiden door de informatie op internet en die vind ik achteraf gezien overdreven. We zijn gaan kajakken. In smalle doodlopende gangen kun je moeilijk kajakken. Je moet er achteruit door aan de muren te trekken. Soms héél ondiep. De foto's op internet geven een vertekend beeld. Ze zijn genomen in de hoofgang. We hadden ook meer uitleg over de mijn en de geschiedenis gewild. Daarom waren we gekomen, om de mijn te bezoeken, kajakken kwam pas op de 2de plaats. Een deel van onze groep die niet ging kajakken kreeg méér uileg over de mijn zelf. Het vervoer met de autentieke treintjes heeft iets maar is ZEKER af te raden voor mensen met rugproblemen. Je moet zeker jong zijn en geen overgewicht en in goede conditie voor de vele trappen.

Expérience de kayak géniale. On aurait juste aimé savoir avant qu’il y a plus de 900 marches à grimper et descendre au total, pas forcément simple si on a des problèmes de mobilité. Mais le guide était génial et il a fait preuve de patience 👍

Probably one of the best experiences we had in Slovenia. Also, probably one of the most adventurous and unique experiences we have EVER done. Going down 600-700 Meters under ground and Kayaking through old mining tunnels is just beyond words and comprehension. The entire tour is well organized, thought out and safe. Safety is their 1st priority, which you can tell from the very beginning. You can NOT miss this experience if you are in Slovenia or around the area. Be mindful, it is a bit strenuous and push your "comfort" boundaries, but 1000% worth it. DO IT!

Did the Black Hole Trail MTB through the mine. Seriously technical riding and pretty scary at times. You needed your big boy pants on for this one! An absolutely amazing experience!!!

Wir haben die Kajaktour ein paar Tage vorher über die Webseite gebucht. Vor Ort angekommen wurden wir von unserem Guide freundlich begrüßt und eingewiesen. Dann ging das Abenteuer auch sofort los: mit einer kleinen Bahn tief in die Mine. Achtung, wer Platzangst hat, könnte hier Probleme bekommen, da die Wagons eng und ohne Licht sind. Aber wir fanden es aufregend und spaßig. Unten angekommen erhielten wir Neoprenlatzhosen inkl. Schuhe, die wasserdicht und warm waren und eine Schwimmweste. Man braucht eigentlich nur ein langärmeliges T-Shirt. Unsere Kleidung und Wertsachen ließen wir in der Umkleide, das Handy kam in der Latzhose mit. Über eine lange, steile Treppe gelangten wir zu den Kajaks, mit denen wir in einem bestimmten Bereich die verschiedenen Stollen selbst erkunden konnten. Das war ein tolles Erlebnis! Nach ca. 1,5 Stunden ging es zurück zu der Umkleide. Es empfiehlt sich warme Kleidung für Hinterher dabei zu haben, da es in der Mine kühl ist. Es gab dann noch Brot, Schinken und Salami zur Stärkung, bevor es wieder teils zu Fuß, teils per Bahn an die Oberfläche ging.

Kayaking in a cave! A completely unique experience. First a mine car ride down, (dark and bumpy) then lots of steps both down to the water, and back up, but not too bad. Very safe.

Lepa izkušnja, dobro vodenje. Obvezna predhodna najava. Vožnja v rudnik s stoletnim vlakcom, ki pa je ne priporočam tistim, ki imate bolečine ali težave s hrbtenico. Veliko tresljajev in močnih udarcev med vožnjo.
